So riot seems like they are going to be releasing 2 champs at once
There's nothing that could go horribly wrong with that.
Right?

It'd be interesting if it was two champs you could pick from but at the beginning of the game you had to choose one or the other. It would create confusion for the enemy in champ select if you first picked it. Say it was optional to be adc/sup. you first pick it(assuming its somewhat of a meta champ) and the enemy proceeds to pick against you, hoping youre the adc version, only to find out you are the support and your teammate last picked an ADC. it could be interesting even if its mostly impractical.
When was the last dual release, wasn't it Season 1 or something?

Draven and Darius. I think that was S2

Nope, I recall their being one in S3-4. Around Jinx, Lucian, Kalista, Braum, and Gnar, I think. And Yasuo.
I think these 2 champs are going to have something special tho, its not like back then when there were 2 champs released side by side, these 2 will definitely be connected by lore, and probably by gameplay as well
Why cant it be a dual being in 1 champ? Like kindred or lulu
Honestly, it could be either, but the way they present it seems more like it'd be two separate champions.
According to the leak it'll be two champions that meld, like the magic cards in SoI.
My money is on these folks being a rehashed Quinn/Valor type hybrid champ in the style they were when first released
Pretty sure it's a dual champion actually.
Wasn't that a mistake in DotA2 with chogall or whoever?
Why would riot try something like that here?
In HoTS and depends on your definition of mistake.
As for why, why not? New ideas to test out.
I think it's more of a tag-team thing.
Think pre-rework Quinn if that's how they worked.
There was a dual-release (I believe) with
and
when they entered the League.
Werent
and
released together?
I think path and vlad were the first two, but I could be wrong.
