Galio is not the only champion who had their damage buffed an insane amount this patch
I didn't really take in Udyr's changes when I read through the patch notes. They didn't seem as extreme as something like Galio's at first. But I just played a game against an Udyr. I'm not going to say that he's busted, because he's probably not. He's got other problems besides damage. The reason I lost the game I just played is not because of Udyr, but because it was a 4v5. However, I do think Udyr should be payed attention to, because having actually played against him the damage buffs are very apparent.
Udyr's changes are as follows:
AD per Level: 3.2 -> 5.0 total AD Ratio on Q: 120/130/140/150/160% -> 120/135/150/165/180% AP Ratio on R: .45 -> .6
The Udyr I played against was a Tiger Udyr, so I have no idea how impactful the Phoenix buff might be, but the base AD and total AD ratio buffs together are insane. 5.0 is the highest base AD growth stat in the game, and Udyr now has the third highest base AD in the game at level 18. And being a pure AA DPS champion who heavily uses two total-AD scaling on-hits (Tiger and Trinity), its a much larger buff for him than it would be for nearly any other champion.
Some numbers for reference: Level 18 Q proc with no items/runes/masteries pre-buff: 112.7 total AD + 1.6*112.7 = 293.02
post-buff: 143.3 total AD + 1.8*143.3 = 401.24
Udyr has gained 108.22 damage on every Tiger proc at level 18. This on its own is a very substantial buff, but this doesn't even account for any AD from items, nor any additional base AD ratios from items (Trinity and Steraks, chiefly)
So look out for Udyr this patch. He's not busted - after all, damage buffs won't actually help him get to targets. Just know while you're out there on the rift that keeping him away from you is more important than ever.
