Question about Zoe's ult

First off, Riot, thank you for making her. Crazy as it sounds, she looks like she was literally made for me. Ranged, mobile, good damage, strong CC, and I like her personality and voice, so thank you. She's definitely going to be a go-to pick if Ahri is banned.

Second and more important, how does her ultimate interact with CC? If she gets rooted when blinking forward, will she still blink back? And if she gets displaced by something, Blitz's Booty Grab for example, will she not blink back to her starting location?

Haha, I'm the opposite! I'll likely go Ahri if Zoe is banned. Because much like you, I think she was made for me too. I really look forward to her.

As for your question, she can use her abilities during the ult before she flash back. She isn't invulnerable like Eve's new ult. So when she's rooted, she's good as stuck. That's what I see so far from what I read. That's my 2 cents. So I'd think of it as a reversed not invulnerable Eve ult.

When ulting, she’s vulnerable to all damage and cc for the duration.

The only thing is that CC only applies when she’s dashing back. For the split second that she BMs she’s “immune” until she goes back to her prior location, when all CC aimed at her takes effect.

I imagine Displacement effects are the only exception, as it usually cancels dashes completely.

I have to disagree once she is at the point she teleports to she is likely vulnerable to CC and the effects would take immediately. Also with all previous abilities where there is no period they where there is no immunity the rest of the abilities effects are disabled. This can be witnessed with Trists rocket jump and alistars headbutt/pulverize combo.

Do you like being wrong?

If even flashing when you ult forced you back to the same spot. I think the CC only really happens when she jumped back through. But then again has anyone tried it with grounding effects?
