I try my hardest to carry every match I play. I typically do 30k damage per match and close the game out by 25 minutes. The only player who deserves to be honored is myself, but since that isn't an option, I refuse to honor any of my boosted teammates. They do not deserve my acknowledgement, as I am the better player.
Funny how "dealt most damage" and "most skilled" aren't Honor options. It's almost like the system is designed to recognize something beyond the stat line...

Win before that: 3-4-5 while everyone else on the team has much better KDA and bot lane has massive damage to everything
Win before that: 8-11-9 with 10 wards placed in 43 mins still having the warding trinket at the end while solo dying to SINGED at 2:08 as Aatrox (how is this even possible?!) to give up FB, while everyone else on the team having better KDA, and 9-6-12 Taliyah having massive champ damage

You are technically hurting your own honour growth that way, since theres a bonus for everyone if everyone votes.
Theres been a couple times where no one was outstanding (but no one was actually a dick to avoid honouring), so I end up voting for whoever happened to be under my cursor when the voting screen came up.
I don't honor anyone either and I don't go around shoving down into everyone's throats....
