I remember the days when this was actually a thing.
Yes a Nasus or Malphite building pure armor into a frozen heart was annoying since you couldn't do much about it past like 6 minutes but being able to build a Banshee against Veigar to escape his stun or a GA against a enemy assassin who has to wait for their ult's cooldown was rewarding.

But ya, I almost never see anyone specifically counterbuilding enemy champions rather than generic items vs ad and ap damage dealers, and even then I almost never see someone building 
or any form of resistance, at most ill just see that 
building 
so hes harder to burst AND can attempt to delete that tank that has been keeping him away from the enemy adc.

Zed and many other AD assassins get BC because AD assassins have few useful armor items (GA and Tabis being the only options, and GA isn't really useful if your team isn't able to save your ass anyways, and gives a shit amount of armor ), so instead they buy the next best thing: Health. And that health combines rather nicely with 
. And it gives CDR and AD on top of that health.
You also have to keep in mind that BC is still a defensive item for most AD assassins due to their typical build consisting of AD, CDR, Lethality, AD, and more AD. Sure, it's an aggressive item for top, but that's top would be reducing their total defenses for BC's damage, while assassins are reducing their total damage for BC's health.

Last I checked Banshee's still gives a spellshield, GA still gives a revive, etc.
They're just not the end-all-be-all of defensive necessities anymore. You can't just get a Banshee's and call it a day against Veigar, as you still need to dodge his stuff, but it lets you make up for being hit by his stun by not being stunned. GA does jack shit if you died because your team died (because they're just going to explode you again), but it's still good if you died because an assassin flung themselves across the map at you to murder you (Ditto for Zhonya's). Armor and health gives you more time against DPS, but obviously you're going to die to DPS eventually if you or your team don't kill them first.

What kind of AD champion would build a Banshee's in it's current state? What kind of AP champion would build a GA? They do not exists as good options for most champs in the game like they use to.
DuskDaUmbreon1 votesAP champions have always had Zhonya's. What AP champion got GA before it was changed to an AD item? The people who actually lost the item were juggernauts and tanks, and I don't think anyone's willing to argue that the people who are the hardest to kill also need a revive.
AD champions have always had Merc Scimitar, and pretty much never got Banshee's as far as I can remember. Again, the only people who really lost the item were tanks and juggernauts, and even they rarely got it because they had 
and a shitton of durability anyways.
In both of these cases the change also opened it up to a lot more champions. It's pretty hard to argue that Nasus needs GA more than Ashe does, or that Leona needs Banshee's more than Zoe does.

I personally like press the attack. It makes her true dmg insane.

True damage cannot be buffed nor reduced, that is why gargoyle active is okay with her.
The only way you can increase true dmg is by increasing what causes that true damage, like cho`s health or more dmg to convert into true dmg with conqueror.
