Why doesn't Ekko's W circle show up right away?

Why doesn't Ekko's W circle show up right away? As though Riot's saying "we have no idea how characters are OP." Even if he wasn't particularly strong, all other characters give a marker so the enemy team will see where the CC effect will occur. Rationally Ekko should have this, too.

Because we don't balance around mentally handicapped players who can't avoid a 3 second telegraphed stun. /thread

what about Leona? Her ult takes a while to actually stun, but the marker shows up right away.

Is her ult a 3 second cast and does she have to be inside of it for it to do anything? The answer is no to all of these questions.

Is there a spell that provides area CC that doesn't show up right away?

No, but then again those spells work right when you cast them, not three seconds later. Its much easier to miss his W then hit it

Ekko's holo-clone and Ekko running to a certain position after it's been cast isn't sufficient indication?

Sounds like a L2P issue to me.
