The mage update only did him favors with giving him more access to CDR, letting him max out with ease. The change to Morello also helped him out by giving him mana refreshing, more mana capacity, and more AP.
It is SO obnoxious dealing with a 40% CDR Fizz, and he's easily able to get that much now. Please consider a CD nerf to his trollpole to compensate for his ease of CDR maxout.

Errastas3 votesI peeked at your match history and see you got rocked by Fizz while playing Syndra. Not saying he doesn't deserve a nerf, but you're complaining about 40% cdr fizz which you weren't even up against.
Your fizz didn't rush Morellos, he rushed Mejai's and Ludens. His 4th item was a fiendish codex, 10% cdr from that and whatever is received from masteries/runes.
You also left that game at level 6, so I doubt you experienced his troll pole at max level. Besides that match your last encounter with a fizz was over a month ago. Looks to me like you're just a little salty over a bad match.
Try Annie against Fizz, you'll make him cry :)
