My problem is if I post my replays on here, that's not happening. They are just getting ganked with no map awareness. I ping MIA mid 10 seconds before he reaches bot, he runs THROUGH THEIR WARD and they still don't see em...... it's bot ganks + bronze map awareness.
When I play bot your not ganking me post-sight stone without tower diving me because I have tri bush, and the entire river lit up like Christmas. I've never just been surprised ganked post sightstone, at some point bot lane needs to take responsibility for not seeing a gank.
Especially in match ups where I can't follow up the roam. A classic ekko bait for example is acting like your roaming. Pop W in river and 2 shot a mage like xerath as soon as he follows up. Now ekko got a free kill and can still roam not if he wants. Following up wasn't the right decision.
Unless your literally getting tower dived by tanks, mid roaming with a 10 second Mia warning in advance isn't a valid excuse to feed. Doesn't happen to me when I'm at top and get 3v1 with their mid/jg/top so it shouldn't happen in a 4v2.
I think you missjudge the number of champions capable of diving. The real problem is that you loss too much even if you see them coming. (I'm a support main, I too lit the river like a christmas tree.) But you can't defend the turret 2v4. You either forfeit the turret, trying to escape the gank, or you die defending turret. (Quite likely losing the turret anyway.) And their is always a possibility that the gank comes from behind the turret through your own Jungle. (Am I really going to need to be warding that too?) And if that happens, you could be very well cut off from even making an escape.
Also, it is true that it's not always safe for your mid laner to follow their opponent. But even then, they should be looking to make plays elsewhere. (Like trying to push in the mid lane.) But if the mid laner dies before hand, that's still on them.
