banning out your team mates

actually effective.

it forces them off their 38% win rate over 55 game champ. and forces them into their "back up" less fun champ but is so easy (and BORING) to play but outright wins the game

if a teammate bans my champion I make sure we lose the game and since reports mean nothing to me because I have so many accounts there's really no way to get me back.

Uh.

i agree with op

someone was about to pick their 0% winrate ezreal of 10 games over their 71% winrate vayne

Meh.

When someone on the enemy team bans me out, I get irritated, yeah. But if one of my teammates ban me out, I just tilt. It's as bad as trolling to go look up your teammates so you can ban their picks. Especially if you're doing it in silver elo. You're just being an ass at that rate. Never gonna get better if I don't get to play what I want to play.

then go to normals

that is how i learned to play ezreal.

Playing norms doesn't really teach you how to play ranked. It's a different atmosphere. I learned my champ in norms, yeah, but I learned to play them in ranked playing them in ranked. It's just how it goes. I'd rather lose cause the other team was better than lose cause my adc was tilted from champ select.

playing norms at least gives you the understanding to the champion and what it can do.

clearly you're playing outright wrong if you have something dumb like a 25% win rate on the champ.

I think you have a flawed view on being a respectable player, and I'm sorry for you. I hope some day you can figure out that being an asshole just makes you toxic, not a better player.

In normals you can get a feel of how to play a champ, how much damage the champ does early, mid and late. Also how laning phase can kind of pan out and about what you should do in teamfights (example, can you be more aggressive or do you need to be more passive with positioning). It may not be 100% like ranked, but going into ranked with 70% knowledge of a champ instead of 20% is a big difference.

win > what you want

its ranked.

act like it.

the moment you stopped trying to win is the moment you should've queued for a different game mode.

I'd rather have somebody who is bad but who is honestly trying than somebody who is outright trolling out of spite or tilted from the get go. I'm weird like that.

I mean, you can ban my Aatrox, but that doesn't mean I'm going to play someone I'm good at but don't enjoy. Odds are I'll just lock in Nunu and go full AP, or AS/Onhit Karthus.

Very Hard Engage1 votes

literally did it last game.

was autofilled into adc, team mate wanted brand support. checked his history, garbage brand. baned brand. he locks his best pick soraka, i go 17-2.

and the enemy team had varus/leona, he would've shoved the wave and forced me too far up the lane to farm and just gotten me killed repeatedly.

but instead i made him play soraka, and i eventually popd off by having something literally other than brand sup.

I await the days when you do this and your support decides to troll you in your promo games rather than be "forced", as you so eloquently put, to play what you want.

i asked him at the start, he didnt say anything but kept on hovering.

i agree it could bite me in the butt and land me a teemo for a team mate in a position he shouldnt be in.

but statistically it wins games.

I don't know dude, my ignite/smite kalista top with aggro play style doesn't always work better than the champ I was planning to play.

Or pick their Soraka Jungle or Blue Shen to spite you.
