@Riot: Are the utility mastery changes here to stay? I'm having trouble just farming with some mids.
For example, as Diana playing against ranged opponents, I've been finding I run out of mana to cs with q really quickly. Likewise, I went to play Syndra against Heim the other day (which, from what I understand, is theoretically a good matchup) and was burning through so much mana just farming that I still needed blue even after picking up a chalice.
Mana costing feels really bad for champions that need to CS with abilities right now. Really bad. Basically, the changes mean that you literally have less mana than before after only a little over two minutes in lane, and the deficit obviously only keeps getting worse the longer you stay. Likewise, less mp/5 means that once you're oom, you're -really- oom. It used to be that I could stick around and farm for a little bit more even when I was low on mana as Diana, because q has a pretty low cost, and I'd regen back to the cost in time to farm the next wave. Not really the case anymore.
Changes are a pain. The game's costing has been balanced around mages being able to get mp/5 from utility for as long as I remember playing (which is since ~S3). Now mana regen was nerfed after it had -already- been nerfed by gamewide changes to how it works (changes I actually personally liked). The issue is, those changes didn't break my farming thresholds. -These changes did-. I'm not having fun playing champions I like now because they go oom way faster than they need to in order to function in lane. Please reconsider the changes.
