@RiotRepertoir: Did the cannon minion changes work, and what metrics are you tracking that with

Hate playing top lane with the changes because its like who ever is losing the lane has to almost kill themselves for the cannon

I'm not even sure what the goal was. Someone remind me?

Honestly screwed with CS'ing as a whole in my opinion, especially mid lane. It is actually tilting to see myself or someone else lose a cannon minion or get shoved in and lose it, and with it, half the gold of the whole wave essentially.

I mean it was already tilting, but this is actually worse. I never imagined that was possible before now.

Tbh I'm betting against the grain.

I bet the changes have no meaningful effect or actually does the opposite. More gold moved onto the already most valuable minion just means the rest of them matter less; therefor it actually reduces pressure to contest most cs; and that occasional cannon can be picked up with the cd of a long range w/e.

Unless the objective is to make most cs'ing matter less maybe..? Blasphemy to me imo. But I could see where that's coming from maybe.

I bet the changes are too small to produce measurable data changes in anything though. Has to be felt and thought about.

I personnaly like these changes. counterpick and bully are less strong.

What it did do is completely wonk support items by making relic shield LOVELY

Somehow all this change did was add another way to be tilted in game. Why does 60% of my income have to come from 1 minion? And its the minion wave i have to plan my backs around as well. So somehow im expected to clear the wave super fast ( alot of champs cant do this), recall , and pray that the canon isnt dead b4 i get back to lane.

Just take Inspiration tree for free boots and dematerializer.

At this point, having free boots and securing 6 cannon minions is totally worth the investment.
