PSA: LeBlanc w can be interrupted

That is all.

Hit charm, hit light binding, hit Annie stun, etc. etc.

Also, the champion doesn't have a silence anymore. You can trade back in lane. For example, as Annie, you should just keep your stun up at all times, start flask, and wq+aa every time LeBlanc goes on you. It should come out fairly even. If you rely on skillshot CC, this is obviously somewhat more complicated, but it should still work for the most part.

Using Annie as an example of how to stop leblanc is kind of.... counter-intuitive.

It's like saying 'use kayle's shield against zed's ult'

it's already obvious and doesnt really add any useful context.

I find trading in lane to be easiest if I just push the minion wave hard and stand inside of it, throw everything at her if she uses distortion on me and between my abilities + minion damage I usually win the trade.

CCing her out of her dash before you take the damage is pretty damn impossible to do though. Takes a lot of luck and you basically have to guess when she's about to W because of casting animations on most CC abilities (like charm).

But standing in the minion wave offers LB a way to both waveclear and hit at you through W. I've found it pretty efficient to stand slightly to the sides of the minion wave against champions with AoE poke/waveclear so they can't get both you and the minions at the same time.

Personally I feel like standing off to the side is more dangerous because she might land a chain on you without minions to block and then she can all in with ignite. If you're off to the side she can then kite towards a river brush to reduce minion aggro in a fight. Also, melee minions are more likely to aggro her and deal damage if you stand closer to them where if you stand to the side sometimes you'll only get caster minions helping you out.

Standing a little to the side can work though for sure, I just like to be fully inside for consistency reasons.

I think if you hit the return pad while she's still in motion, it still hits her too; it happened to me once with an Elise cocoon, though it could also just have been lag #eastcoastproblems :P

That doesn't work against any competent LB. She will either distort to your left or right just within range to hit you with the AoE. This also makes it hard for you to hit a CC since you have to guess where she will be and when she will be there.

This is the fundamental reason why LB is so OP.

So basically I have to play annie, every game, just in case they pick leblanc? Because this strategy becomes pretty difficult on any champion that has CC that requires any type of skill to land.
