How Ranked Solo Queue Could Be Changed

I know I'm not alone when I say, I hate ranked solo queue champion select. This really isn't about how much I hate playing solo queue, but more about how Riot could implement a better system for ranked solo queue champion select. This would be an alternative mode, only offered to solo/duo players in a team builder setting. Players would be able to play their best champions with their best roles, unless they were banned by either captain. I believe this would reduce stress for ranked, increase the likeliness of synergy with teammates, and reduce toxicity. I feel like this would be a better way of playing ranked, please share your thoughts.
