Can we just make a mode for solo players?

I'm not talking about ranked, it doesn't even have to be ranked. Just a single mode where it's impossible to have someone with you. Everyone is random. That way I don't have a duo bot lane every game, where we get an inexperienced support player (I main support) who doesn't build sightstone, finish their support item, or ward whatsoever. This is me being extremely salty, because I just got out of a game that was just like this.

Me: I prefer to support Duo: We are duo bot Me: Okay, I'll go top

20 minutes later

Duo: 0/20/0 Me: 0/0/0

Then when you said anything to them, they just blew you off. Then I get reported for verbal abuse, when I wasn't, they're just way too damn sensitive to take advice such as warding.

Did I win lane? No. Did I let my laner snowball? No. It's completely possible to lose lane without giving the enemy laner their Wheaties. I bought wards, farmed, and tried to become as tanky as possible.

TL;DR: Duos ruin the game. Make a mode for people without friends like myself.

There is an easy solution to your problem...get friends :)

Yes because these 4-man mexican premades who reports you at the end of the game for no reasons are very irritating.

Was in full agreement until the TLDR. OP is a joke.

If duos ruin games, fine I agree with that. But if you are salty because u "have no friends" then grow the hell up.

I see this sometimes, but more often I see the duo bot destroy the enemy and then carry hard. I don't think duo's themselves are the real problem, it is just some folks that aren't very good working together and getting a bad result. You don't need a duo for that.

Nothing worse than being the 5th wheel in a toxic premade. If you ever disagree with them on what to do or where to go they always gang up on you. Doesn't matter how right or wrong you are.

And it sucks to fight a premade team, because they're usually on skype, so they don't have to type with their team or anything. Honestly it's pretty unfair.

yea I hate people who have friends, too

Duos do tend to operate at similar skill levels. Which is both good and bad. The problem is how strongly it effects the game. With 4 random people you are equally able to get 1 good bot player with 1 bad one. Or 2 bad ones. Or 2 good ones. Actually, the chances of getting 1 good with 1 bad are double. (correct me if I am wrong) Thus the chances of the good players covering the weaknesses of the bad player are quite good.

With a duo it seems to be 33/33/33. Good, bad or meh. But I personally much rather have 1 good player with 1 bad player than 2 meh players. Meh can't carry or support the entire team into victory.

I tend to find that duo supports are more reliably playing a pure support role than random solo queue players.

I agree, bad duo queqes ARE frustrating. But being in a duo queqe is a nice way to have fun with freinds.

I dont think DUO is a huge problem... i think Quads are though.. EVERY TIME im the solo with a team of 4.. i get BM'd no matter what if the game is a loss.

Alternatively, you could make friends and play with them. It's easy, all it takes is being a fun guy to be on a team with.

I don't understand how you can draw the conclusion that "duos ruin the game" from a single bad experience with one. Do solo queue players not also ruin the game? People feed and are dicks whether or not they happen to join the game with a duo queue partner. Sometimes my friend and I get on our smurfs and duo queue, and we are the ones carrying the rest of the team--not feeding.

I think it's just certain duos. There are probably duos in your games very often, but they never state the fact and they don't lane together. It's the noisy, annoying duos that are the problems, and in reality, it's just the noisy annoying people who are the problems. It's kinda like the Platinum smurfs that'll "carry you" if they get the role they want (and then feed, horribly). I duo with my brother all the time, and we do just fine. You also probably wouldn't even know we were duoing in the first place.

Rofl, i have had this experience so many times. "duo bot lane" and they just feed uncontrollably. I rarely get a duo that wins their lane, i agree I'd rather not play with the duo bot lanes either.

Yet we have some duos who don't ruin the game, and actually want to duo bot because those are the roles the main. Having played with my duo partner for over two years now, we both tend to perform worse when laning with those who don't understand the cohesiveness of a great bot lane.

Get people that you kow on your friends list, I only go into normals when we are 3 or 4 of people I already know and we know what kind of game we will play.
