Baron and Elder Dragon is both attainable by a single champion in the late game. Both of which are considered game changing objectives?

Even using the champions who CAN solo these objectives, it takes a good few minutes to do so. And if one team doesn't have almost constant vision of Baron/Elder Dragon in the later stages of the game, frankly they deserve to lose them.

How late into the game was this? What kind of items did he have? No offense, but I seriously doubt Yi can kill Elder Dragon or Baron in 30 seconds.

And this still begs the question: why wasn't the objective warded? If it's so important, as you claim, you should be keeping a ward on it 24/7. That way if anyone tries to solo it, they get collapsed on and die.

it takes more than one person to kill dragon or baron, dragon heals even when dealt damage.

Not really.

Mostly because I've soloed Baron with every champion in the game the 2nd-3rd time I've tested them out in a custom game. LoL certainly allows champions to scale hard enough to kill either in a 1vs.1 fight come late game.

Doing so generally requires a pretty specific build and a lot of time though, where it takes to long to build such items in a pvp game and too much time to 1v1 Baron/Draon without putting yourself at great risk.

For specific champions it's important to keep in mind that LoL is balanced around blowing up someone's Nexus, not 1v1 or solo-Baron potential. Some champions (junglers) are better suited to taking out large jungle monsters than others.
