I'm not complaining, I'm just asking. How do I counter him? I do ward, but his elastic shot range is way too long and he can kill me by ganking at blind spots and now that green wards are gone, the trinkets are incredibly finite. I play mages mostly, so I don't really have any escapes besides a flash. I can't sidestep due to his W's radius and travel time
Usually you'll wanna ward unorthodox places if he's the jungler. So say you're top lane playing on the red side - instead of warding river, try warding the inside of the jungle, the corner directly adjacent to the river brush. Things like that.
Keep your own side of the jungle warded as well and play more defensively until you know where Zac is at. If he's on the other side of the map and you can push, do it. If you don't know where he is, let the enemy laner push, freeze the wave at your tower, and farm where it's safe.
Dodge E is the important thing.
depends on the exact champ you play, but if you ward 1 bush and lean to that side and make sure not to stand to far up in lane, you should be fine.
In helping out a previous poster.... Make sure to control ward (if your top laner) the bush behind your outer turret. I have found on more than one occasion Zacs and Lees come from that bush and come out behind you.
he's practically all magic damage and hp. so just prevent his healing and prevent his magic damage.
