Udyr's classic skin needs an update

So, lately I've been playing alot of Udyr because I enjoy it. But, the thing i noticed about him is that, his whole entire classic skin is really outdated. For example, when you switch stances it just seems like it could be better, or his attack animations could just be better. It's alittle hard to explain but go see for yourself, it just feels...outdated. Plus, buying the Spirit Guard Udyr skin just feels like you're paying for a Visual update on Udyr more than it feels like a Skin.

I think that a poll for such a topic is rather unnecessary, because Udyr objectively needs a VU, for he's one of the oldest champions in the game.

However, nowdays Riot doesn't do "standalone" VUs", like they used to. They found that it's much more efficient to prioritize characters that could get an update in every aspect, like Yorick or Warwick, and giving those champions the maximum amount of Design, Narrative and Art resources (& Sounds and Voiceover).

as a former udyr main i think his normal skin needs a VU. however, riot is a business. and business is about making money. so it would be inefficient for riot to do VU when theyve released spirit guard udyr. basically, if they leave him as is, it makes you want to buy a usyr skin after looking at that ugly tattered dress for 50 games.

yeah they actually updated his classic skin a few years ago

it's called Spirit Guard Udyr and costs $20

Udyr is a sticky mess according to the skins team due to the massive amount of work required to update him and essentially create an entirely new ultimate skin to keep Spirit Guard up to snuff. I believe they said that they were going to back burner old champs with ultimate skins until the more problematic champs were updated.

He'll need a full VGU before he gets anything like that since they said they don't do standalone VUs anymore.
