I cant remember the last time a tank item received a buff and honestly any hyper carry will just melt you in 5 hits.
A few days ago I was playing against master yi and I had randuins, thronmail, sunfire, and ninja tabi with renekton ulti. Master yi auto attacked 5 times and I died. whats the point of going tanky if It will not make a difference? mine as well go all damage and and atleast 1 shot master yi before I die...
btw we were winning and we won that game...
Tank items have been buffed all season tbh.
Is this a joke? Tanks have been strong for most of the season. There not as strong now as the use to be but tanks don't need a buff. I don't want to see a wet noodle fight again.
cough cinderhulk cough Presumably you were facing a full ad master yi, with 5 offensive items (not including zerk boots) one of which was probably last whisper, another of which could very possibly have been a youmoos, he may have had armor pen runes, and his e also does true damage (did he have devourer? EVEN MORE TRUE DAMAGE) You were not full tank, and you died to someone with full damage. Also, this was master yi. True damage invincibility and the damage reduction on his w. I'm not at all surprised that you died.
However, there are a few changes that could be made to help tanks, but we are still sort of in the tank meta, so buffing tank items might just make tanks REALLY overbearing.
