So the play pattern against Camille

Wait 1.5 sec before hitting her so her absorb shield fades, then move away so she doesn't Q you a second time for true damage. On the way out you get hit by her W for bonus damage since it hits harder and heals if you get hit by the tip.

When are you supposed to trade?

Wow it's almost like trading means you take something still. Or do you just want to get damage for free?

I never have a problem against her. Then again I'm a bronze 1 fiora main

You're probably going to take damage when you trade with someone. Stay close enough to her so her W doesn't hit you with the outside, but far enough so she can't' do too much damage to you while you wait out her shield. Or just fight her while her shield is on cooldown.

One of the only champions I can think of that would do well against camille, is fiora. Ironically also because she's a chore to fight against if she's competent.

The argument above seems to be that trading involves you dishing damage to her while she hits you. In the above scenario, she shields dps which you wait out (1.5 seconds is pretty long-ish in a fight). You're backing off and she heals as a result.

The heal combo shield makes it so that your output was reduced, but she still got dps and some of which probably was true damage.

Camille seems like the sort of target you should be teaming up against though, so without any other given factors... she turns into a very solid duelist and this is an example of that in action. Without some sort of gimmick, she will potentially win this fight if you don't have the raw numbers or CC to kill her.
