Hello, I would like to ask you for your opinion about Diana's current state. Is she an assassin, or is she a fighter?

If she is an assassin, then how come she gets a shield and a DOT on her W (it takes time for W to deal full damage, it's not instant, so it's a DOT) and her E brings enemies around her closer, while dealing no damage (meaning enemies will be closer to her, and be able to deal damage faster)

If she is not an assassin, then how come she gets to have this much burst (on par, or even bigger than some assassins)

Overall Diana is really strong, and in need of balancing, or a rework (nerfs in this patch most definitely)

I wouldn't say she's really one or the other, but more a hybrid of both. As far as assassin elements go, she has pretty good backline access and up-front burst, but she's not very slippery and doesn't really have outs or defensive tricks that many assassins do. On the fighter side of things, her sustained damage is quite high, but, even considering her shield, she doesn't get quite as tanky and doesn't operate quite as effectively with dedicated tanky builds.

These elements result in her having a very all-in playstyle, and makes her pretty snowbally as well. She is pretty powerful, but I don't think at this point there's a definitive argument to be made that she's too far out of line at the moment.
