Any jungle mains out there? I really need some advice.

I'm Plat 4. My main lane is ADC. I'd like to put my secondary as support but i dont feel like having my secondary as my primary if you know what i mean :]

So i'd like to atleast put jungle as my secondary. Problem is i feel like my jungle pool are all liability picks that fuck up my team

My main Junglers are

XinZhao Vi Sejuani

When i play xin or vi i feel like im 100% a liability and i fucked my team comp. Ill be honest xin feels like he cant do a single thing in team fights except die

and Vi idk she still seems weak imo. Shes like an all in champ and if there are ranged champs youre just fucked you know?

Sejuani i feel comfortable but i guess i could get some advice on some stuff like that. What are your thoughts on xin and building him. Same with vi

Should i just stick with sej?

They just gave Vi some pretty signficant buffs to her early game so she should be more viable!

Xin is pretty weak right now IMO as his clear speed is fairly slow.

If you are looking for another jungler I would recommend Zac. He is similar in role to Sej, but his pre-6 (or when ult is on CD) ganks are much better, as his sustain. (Sej usually has better teamfights though). Make sure you max E first if you play him for better ganks.

For Sej if you are looking for tips first I would recommend prioritizing CDR in her build for more ults (I go 10% from runes, Frozen heart and Spirit Visage or Locket). Another important strat with her is saving your ult for the right moment. It is usually much better to ult after a teamfight has started so the enemy are stunned for the full duration. It doesn't matter if you stun 5 people if your team doesn't reach them until the stun is worn off, better to stun their adc and mid when your assasin is on top of them. (obviously sometimes you have to start the fight with ult though, like if the enemy has really long range or you are the only engage, etc).

I'm B1, so ignore me if you want, but I'll help if I can.

Xin's primarily role, like Vi's, is skirmishes and zoning/diving the carries. Both function better in 3v3s rather than full 5v5s. Part of it is being able to get to the carries, which is something that Vi ult and Xin E basically solve. You dive in with Xin E and send people into your team or just split them up so your team can clean up. Dive the ADC or mid as Vi and try to zone them out or kill them with a secondary diver. Both function better with a secondary diver or tank to help them get to the carry.

For builds: Xin likes stuff like item 1419 , item 1413 , item 1412 . Red smite is helpful for damage since it deals a lot of true damage and you auto a lot. After that it depends on what you have and what they have. item 3065 is almost certainly your MR item of choice as it helps the heal off E. After those two items plus situational boots, it's pretty much situational tank items. item 3068 is probably #1 just because you tend to live long in fights as long as you have the stats and heals, so the passive burn does a lot for your damage. Other decent items would be like item 3071 for additional AD champions on your team, item 3143 for Yasuo , Ashe , Jhin , Sivir ,Tryndamere , other ADCs in general, item 3742 for better E initiates using the MS, item 3110 works as a good secondary item with item 3143 , moreso because you can use the passive for the atk spd slow and the Randuin's active fairly well, item 3075 is pretty much secondary to most other armor items and should be used if you don't think your damage alone is enough to win. item 3053 is a decent diving survival item and can give you a solid damage buff.item 3102 for added dive protection and MR with your item 3065 . You also want to always make sure you prioritize health along with the armor or MR, like the items above have or use item 3083. Armor and MR function as multiplication stats off your health in a sense.

Same build path concepts function for Vi, only difference is I personally dislike item 3071 because it can be harder for Vi than Xin to stack just because she doesn't have an Atk Spd buff unless you already proc your W 3 times, which means you've already gotten 3 of the 6 Cleaver stacks. item 3078 is a better damage item overall and still gives you the 20% CDR, which is lovely. item 1419 is a little less desirable than item 1412 just because you don't auto as much as Xin, plus warrior hits like a truck.

Best thing to remember when playing Vi and XinZhao is you are the secondary engage moreso than the primary.

Primary engage is usual heavy AOE CC abilities or pick based abilities: Alistar combo, Hecarim R, Gnar R, Blitzcrank Q, Thresh Q, Skarner R, Nautilus R, Leona R, Kennen R, Malphite R, Gragas E+R combo (RIP that), Sejuani R, Kled R, etc. Stuff like that is what you use initially to start fights, then you follow them up with Vi R or Xin E+R. Using the secondary engage second ensures (sort of) you don't get blown up. Most of these type of engages work well when backed up by primary engages that help them get in there, such as Sivir and Kled R. These enable things like Olaf R and Orianna R, for example, to be that much more efficient. Some secondaries function fine on their own, Yasuo R for example, but they can be that much more potent with primary engages starting them off.

Hope this helps mate.

For Xin Zhao you should try farming the jungle for a while before ganking as he scales really well with items. Build blood razor, guinsoo's rageblade, bork and then full tank. Vi is sort of in the same position as Xin but has really good ganks early on just because of the crowd control. Be sure to gank any lane where the enemy is pushed ahead because Vi really shines in the early game by snowballing her team.

i think vi is one of the strongest junglers currently. she can 1v1 lot of champions early game. not bad clears. op fucking ganks. if the enemy team has an immobile mid and adc. vi should be a free win.

and w/e u do pls practice these in norms instead of ranked :D

Vi early is a great ganker but as the game goes late if you dont get ahead and get big ticket items your effectiveness falls off. XinZhao is a one trick all in pony. meaning if you arent ahead you are dead. you can use xin to engage and be in the middle of fights if you are behind because he is all in or nothing. Sejuani can be a super tank for team and provide great cc and engage. she would lack in damage if behind but if built as a full tank she can still be useful due to her kit.

i personally think that Amumu is a strong jungler that can provide alot to a team. i know it would be considered similar to Sejuani

some other junglers that can provide something for team would be Jax if you need a duelist, split pusher who can provide damage but like a xin or vi he needs to get ahead.

right now the jungler with highest win rate is Skarner

if you want something simple that has engage and great vs heavy ad comps Malphite

Vi and Sejuani are both good champions for many team compositions. They have great mobility, CC and utility while being versatile enough to most team compositions.

Well I can't help you much since I was Platinum 3 so we are at the same level, indeed, I have reached plat 3 playing Jungle and you are an ADC main.

So let's try.

I suggest you to leave Sejuani and Xin for a several reasons. Sejuani is overnerfed, her clear speed is meh and she deals close to no damage after the nerfs, even her ult is nothing special since Ammumus is simply better. Sejuani can be a threat but only if you manage to get really, really fed which is hard if you play Seju. As for Xin, you listed all obvious reasons. Xin is nothing but all in champion thats gonna die no metter what. I sae many Xins in plat going 10-1-X finishing game with 12-15-X. Vi can be cool if you get used to her but I doubt she can shine in Plat+.

Picking a right champion for jungle is hard because there are only a few of them that are good because Riot hates us and always leaves us with 3 to 4 champions that always get nerfed because it seems that riot wants to turn junglers into off lane supports -.- Anyways, do not rush jungle in rankeds untill you put your hand on a few new champions in normals so you can get used to them. I suggest you to check for Kha'Zix, Nocturne and Graves of you want to damage or Gragas, Hecarim and Voli if you want something safer. I main Nocturne and I have S grade on him. I often play Maokai and Pantheon jungle. But remember this. pantheon and Elise really fall off late game and if you din't snowball your team at 1st 15-20 minutes of a game youll turn into a stun bot.

So, champions you should try are: Elise, Kha, Gragy, Heca, Voli, Pant, Graves and Noct.

Gl :)

XinZhao ill say this as he, Rengar ,Warwick are my main jungles, I'm not ranked (well not of my own accord), but I do know that xin xhao can be very powerful if you use him properly.

yes he is an all in champion BUT you can use that to your advantage, if you play him like an assassin and strike when you see an opportunity instead of being the engage for your team you can rack up some serious damage and kills. start with W then get Q and E at 3rd and another point in W and Q before you get your ult. with an assassin build you want AttackSpeed and sustain, which can translate into one defensive item "black cleaver or Spirit Visage" you will want to go critical strike lifesteal with item 3009 as your 3rd or 4th item plus any jungle item with the devourer upgrade. overall you wont need flash as a summoner spell because once you go in you don't want back out, I recommend summoner 3 or summoner 6 or summoner 14 as your summs in addition to smite, but once you try it out he can normally outsustain anything except hard cc (watch out for annie)
