Sett is the most balanced champion on release since forever

with a stable 50% across all elo and region, with the only exception of Iron and Bronze facetanking Sett W.

Can we have more champion like this? Counterplay wise and gameplay wise this champion is awesome.

He feels strongs to play and has clear weakness.

And please don't nerf him for low elo like you did to Yorick, they need to learn it the hard way and understand the basic of this game. If they get good then good for them, but the majority of the average should not have their champion nerfed because of them. Example: Yorick.

Because unlike many other recent champions, they decided to give an actual, exploitable weakness without giving him 20 ways to overcome it. Giving champions a clear and exploitable weakness is pivotal game design that seems to be forgotten as of late.

If he has 50 % winrate in his first week, he's not balanced, he is op.

Soloq you maysee a nerf and thats it but you better hope to god he isnt a problem in the LCS or they will gut his gameplay like they did Yuumi.

Thingamajig1/20/2020, 2:19:07 PM13 votes

ornn and sylas were also balanced on release but riot were scared because of their low winrates

Hasn't it been like almost a full week since his release? Let's give him some more time.

On to Sett. He hs definitely not "the most balanced champion ever" He's sitting at a 50% WR and 60% delta on his first week(currently same stats as Aphelios who is getting nerfed). He is 100% going to see some nerfs.

yuumi actually, but then she got hotfixed in under 24 hours and the nightmare began.

50% WR overall, 51+% WR in Diamond, after 10 days since his release? I'm not sure.

My man Kayn still stands in my eyes as one of the most balanced releases in the game. Never really fell below a 49% winrate never climbed above a 51% winrate. Has very defined strengths and will fuck your up if you don’t respect them And even more defined weaknesses.

what are his clear weaknesses? I've played him into pretty much every matchup and he seems like a very good generalist to me right now, unless his weakness is his low carry potential

surely sett is the perfect item 1006item 1006item 1006 champion? must playtest.

God, it's been ages. I'd say the last time I saw a champion have so few balance issues was Kayn.

Aphelios : Has continued to piss people off since his recent release with his waaaaaay too awkward to play against kit.

Senna : Was and is pretty strong, and will probably continue to be a problem as either an ADC or support at any one time.

Qiyana : was extremely strong, and saw very high p/b of 90% at worlds, despite her nerfs.

Yuumi : ... Exists. Remember her 80% slow? I wish I didn't.

Sylas : Has seen a huge amount of work since release due to having both a strong base kit and far too versatile ultimate(s).

Neeko : Lowkey stronk. Looking back though her patch history, she saw quite a few nerfs I'd forgotten about. Also caused chaos up top with her on hit build. Like, her W passive damage got reduced by almost 25%.

Pyke : Hoo boy. Basically had to remove all of his wave clear due to a certain EU team, saw changes to make tank Pyke less viable, and people are still pissed about the buffs to his ult's gold generation. Turns out mixing an assassin with a support is like mixing oil and water.

Kaisa : I kid you not, after the kneejerk buffs on the patch after her release, she's only ever seen nerfs. There's a reason she was the most played ADC for two worlds in a row.

Zoe : ...

Ornn : As much as I love my GOAT, man his W on release was not ok. It was basically a free trade at the press of a button.

Kayn : Literally has only seen buffs and bugfixes, which is doubly impressive given his two forms.

People said the same about Senna, she had about a 51% win rate the first week and then it spiked to 54% once people learned to play her. Sett has extremely one sided matchups, he either stomps who's he's playing against or he gets wrecked by them.

His shield is obnoxious and his W is overloaded because of it. Sure his other abilities are fine but having one ability that powerful that carries the rest of your kit means you're not really balanced. He's not broken but I do think he's overtuned in some areas. We'll see how he does in the next few weeks.

NickColaTesla 1/26/2020, 7:16:31 PM2 votes

He has an 83 WR above plat, his abilities are on crack of a cooldown, allowing him to use it 2, even 3 times in a lane engagement at times, and his shield gives him his ENTIRE health back is used properly. His balance is laughable ATM.

Not only that I'd say he's the most well designed juggernaut in game.

hes the only juggernaut thats actually kitable imo ... looking at you darius with your flash ghost and Extra long E
