Vladimir is apparently "debatable" in the case of needing buffs.

I defy you to find someone with a worse early game and less impact pre-20 minutes. His lategame isnt even as good as it should be in regards to how trash his early is, given how every ADC with a item 3072 outheals and outdamages him.

As a fellow avid Vladimir player, he kind of is trash right now...although there is a new build on /r/vladimirmains that makes him this cheesy Level 1-3 kill pressure guy, but if you fail with it you are screwed for the rest of laning phase. 9 AD Marks for harass, Scaling health yellows, AP blues and Quints, Amp Tome start, Ignite Flash summoners.

The drug is called Repertoir. Apparently Garen Skarner Taric Rengar Quinn Gangplank are also in a good state. Not to mention Ryze and Cassiopeia who received multiple reworks in a short time after he failed on them.

And Meddler is guilty as well. He is head balance and champdesign yet every cancer Repertoir came up with got releases so apparently he was very satisfied with his work.

Honestly the game would be 10x better if both would leave

Oakleaf Ranger1 votes

hmm I only agree on Taric, he is hungry as fuck for mana. I personally think the rest are in a good state (IDK about Ryze). If I could I would do a hit and run on Gangplank still, that guy is still a monster when mastered ( This guy can just turtle the laning phase without killing you and win lane for everyone else with just a press of a button). I don't want to deal with that bs anymore.

I think Gangplank is in a fine state right now, but I do agree with you on everything else. The only reason GP is mediocre right now anyways is because one build path of his (Full Armor Pen item 3078 item 3142 item 3147 item 3036 item 3812 item 3156 ) got changed/nerfed. If itemization came into his favor (More AD, Crit, and Armor Pen) he would again become an unstoppable monster. Same thing with Quinn I think, because she used to rush item 3142 , but now with the loss of the Attack Speed she lost some early power, where she really shines.

Well, his early game got nerfed. But it is even stronger late game, which is what he is. Gangplank

It would be like that, but with the changes to Trinity Force he had to become a Mid-Early Late Game champion instead of just pure hypercarry.

Well technically taric is pretty strong imo, and i play/ed him a lot.

Lol, I always love when people are like "but Repertoir goes on boards, and listens to feedback," because while that's nice, his roster is not so hot. Just to name a few

Malzahar : Basically few mains I know (including me) have fun with him anymore. His whole kit was changed into an argruably more unhealthy state, because "he would always flash r for no counterplay," as Repertoir said... which isn't how any main normally played him at all. (And is also rich, because they said that's what they like about annie who can do it to whole teams)

Skarner : Pretty much agreed that it missed the mark - the spires were random and not terribly fun to play with

KogMaw : This one was so bad it actually got reverted

Rengar : This one is almost so bad that it's considering getting reverted (because cc immunity was what rengar needed XD)

Quinn : Whether she was better before or after is debatable (her top lane will always be frustrating - but that's her job), but they killed what people loved - playing as valor (seriously I'm looking at heartseeker skin and imaging how fun it would be to assassinate people playing as a heavenly white dove).

In any regards, I'm just really irritated by all of these (even if one or two I don't play). Like I get that he's "one with the community," but some of these I possibly wonder what community he was talking to.

(And now that Anivia's been really slammed with the "healthy rework" hammer, I'm just really nervous whenever they are saying another champ I play is going to get looked at)

Malzahar i never flashed ulted with the guy i would always wait till any assasin was dumb enough to dive me at tower and kill em, if they have had half a brain i would farm and outscale them

Because if this character needs to be played like an assassin in order to win, he's probably not healthy for the game. His only options are to walk up to or Flash up to someone and combo them, or to catch someone off guard (like in brush or something) and combo them. There are champions that are much better suited to do both of these things, and given Malzahar's kit, if that's what it took for him to succeed, he's probably just overtuned.

This right here is when I knew this rework was gonna be a failure if that's what Repertoir thought of Malzahar

I... is that really how he thought of malzahar? Malzahar had a very clearly defined niche if counter engage. He was an anti-assassin who exceeded at punishing all-ins due to his high damage and immobility...

The Great Divide2 votes

Not to mention useful against tanks and divers in general as well

I wouldnt say tanks because his old W was actually the major change most people wanted. like... pre-rework malzahar DID need changes. his old passive turned into a new W (where it gained charges for spell casts, and could be used on demand like kassadins slow) and being replaced with a spellblade effect.

Seriously... malzahar with a spell blade would have negated the "oh hes got 0 interaction!" argument because he would be rewarded for interacting and harassing with abilities not on the E or R key.

AcidTheWarlock1 votes

It says in the OP that they wanted Malz to be more of an anti-engage champ but he just comboed people down instead.

Stephenizgod3 votes

need a petition to re-rework Malzahar or revert the changes, can not leave him as is because it is terrible.

Paroe2 votes

@topic

Pre-rework malzahar was FAR healthier than his current iteration, but at least with the voidling changes he feels better. I can actually use him and not feel like an auxiliary support.

It's a little bit like a item 3512 is taking up an entire champion slot on your team, though.

hes one of the strongest top laners and mid laners atm. hell he can still outjungle most junglers.

malzahar is strong.

With how they fucked his voidlings, Malz Jungle is probably all he will be seen a lot of the time.

Shyvana "i got buffed, not nerfed beyond redemption" -Riot&Every retard 2016

By the way i don't get what your point is, is he too weak to fight champions? Because he's supposed to be a proxy-poke low interaction champion, basically what i call the "afk farming" champions, you just need to oneshot the wave and scale for late game...

Hyperiön1 votes

With how they just fucked his voidling interaction, he barely has any good lanes anymore except against maybe yasuo. anyone else really immobile, or who can't nuke him.
