Does LoL interact with VPN in some way? Anyone know?

it used to, and it REALLY depends on which provider. I went through a paid provider once and while the VPN was on, I could load into a match, chat, everything just fine, but I couldn't move... I have since switched providers and am able to move chat, etc all just fine (the only difference is 2-3 ping for me)

Most (I am only a little hesitant to say "all) companies that allow remote server connectivity in any way, will also monitor the IP address a machine is using to connect to the server. There are many reasons they will look at this, however one of the most common is for account security. If your using your regular ISP connection which shows that you are logging in from one state in America, then you log in using a VPN which shows that your IP address has significantly moved, on a security level, it appears more likely that someone else has logged into your account.

Sharing your account is strictly prohibited and is a perma-ban action because Riot doesn't ask for identification information that they can use to easily reestablish the security of your account if your account is compromised. Since many accounts have financial information attached to them, it is safer for Riot to permanently disable the use of an account to prevent financial loss than to attempt to restore access to the owner.

Yes, it does. This game runs crappy on its own, with a VPN it runs crappier.

no it won't work well with how RIOT DIRECT LINE are set up the problem is with something like wtfast of any other is its trying to get you from point A to point B in the fastest route possible. BUT with the way peering points work with riot its more like the gestapo as it catch's you an reroutes back to LA to the direct THAN back to Illinois.
