If Solo queue was actually Solo queue it would make boosting more difficult

Ben Sharpio··35 votes·1,623 views

as of right now, 2 boosters duo queue, generally a jungler with a top laner or a mid laner, then the jungler proceeds to camp their carry lane, and completely shut down any opportunity to win.

AFTER that is finished, they advertise their QQ ID in post game chat. Solo queue being actual solo queue would make it a lot harder. 1 person carrying 4 other people as opposed to 2 people carrying 3 others.

Damn they just did what everyone asked for and people are still complaining. Hilarious.

Yeah, but people EXAMPLE: Dekar, were actively boosting doing this same exact method with dynamic queue. You queue up with "friends" and proceed to boost legally (?).

Lmao, you guys definitly did not ask for soloq being only solo, you guys asked for getting the old system back instead of dynamic q. Just saying, i don't mind if it's only solo, but you guys ask too much in a short time, let them finish the new client and other stuff first.

i did that too consistently. why not tho rito promoted it i accepted it. free money

Or maybe everyone called soloQ, soloQ, because it is shorter than tiping in SOLO AND DUO QUEUE.

As for myself I'm happy with the old system.

I don't mind duos, some are toxic but at least I have 2 people who will agree with me when I tell the premade to suck my chubby :^) but I do wish Riot would permaban people who advertise their QQ ID in game because there's no reason to use it for anything other than boosts.

Solo Queue should be just solo cause its not fair to play for example 2 solo players vs duo in bot lane (or as you said jungle+top/mid camp), but about boosting, isnt boosters just log in into boosting account and to their job alone?

The Deckowner1 votes

straight up logging into account boost is more likely to get banned than duo boosting because it is more obvious.

I solo q in all of the ranked systems right now (solo-duo/flex/3v3 flex) and as of right now, solo/duo is the absolute hardest to play because you have no control over what shitters you will be forced to play with unless you duo. At least flex and 3v3 players have some sense of playing the game when they are with friends, but in normal solo/duo q, its obnoxious to play with an 0-10 top lane every game.

I swear, its always the solo players who are the worst on the team, and who flame/afk/troll.

Duo players are just as bad. It's not a matter of solo v duo it's a matter of almost everyone in this game is a toxic piece of shit that feeds relentlessly.

Ive never played with a toxic premade before, and I've played about 1500 games since the beginning of season 6. I've only ever seen toxic solo's

Supreme Senpai692 votes

Maybe you didn't know they were premade? I've seen more toxic premades than solos. But anecdotal evidence doesn't really offer much, I know there's people who have seen more toxic solos than premades.

To say you've never played with a toxic premade is a bit silly though. Surely you've played with at least some, but more than likely, many.

Someone in a premade wouldn't troll by themselves and make their duo lose LP for no reason. I can tell you with all my heart that I have never played with a toxic premade before, in fact most of the premades I've played with have been extremely positive. And If I have ever played with someone who was in a premade then It is only that individual being toxic/trolling/afk, not the person they are playing with.

Supreme Senpai692 votes

I think an important distinction to make is being toxic =/= trolling. There's trolling and intentionally feeding and AFK'ing, and then there's being toxic. Like passive aggressive pings, calling names, saying you suck everytime you miss a CS, etc. And yes, a lot of the times it's not the entire premade being toxic. Sometimes their friends stay silent. A lot of other times though it's both. -shrugs-

I'm not using the terms interchangeably, When I say that a solo is toxic/afk/trolling, I mean that they are being Toxic, they are afk, or they are int feeding or trolling.

Supreme Senpai691 votes

Oh. Idk what to say then man. Maybe now that I mentioned it you'll see them lol, that's usually how those things work. Lemme know. Cuz they are most definitely out there

What happens more often is the mid and jungler try to boost each other but it turns out they're both bad. So the mid goes 0/8 and the jungler does nothing but camp the mid laner, often failing to even 2v1 and he goes 0/5. Meanwhile top and bot get zero ganks, are camped by the enemy, no dragons are even attempted, and it's a loss because you can't carry the two useless rocks.

But of course in their skype call they're saying "useless team GG"

I just had a match that our adc was (silver this season and PLAT last season) and he fed and did some of the most idiotic things.

BOOSTED

Unicorn Emoji1 votes

There are tons of other ways to boost unfortunately. I've even heard of people logging in for other people and boosting accounts that way.

you should see that silver border sivir with 90% win ration in d4. eks di he became such a good player maybe he got coached?

I never understood why soloQ is solo/duo. I would have understood it in the past, but now? If you want to play with your friend, you have flex. The duo part of solo/due Q is nonsense.

Go on Twitch, watch the people who have about 500 or less views, watch as they lose every game on their own, watch as they win every game with their "friend". That's boosting right there, and I hate seeing the Twitch streamer act surprised when he or she gets carried to Plat/Diamond.
