Any reason why all the Trinity Force incarnations can't coexist?

I love this item, but I sometimes miss the incarnations with AP and crit. Is there any reason these versions can't exist at the same time when they fill different niches? The build paths seem pretty intuitive, even with the many changes to components over the seasons.

(Aspd) Trinity Force Phage + Sheen + Stinger

(Crit) Trinity Force Phage + Sheen + Zeal

(AP) Trinity Force Revolver + Sheen + Stinger

The point is that there are some champs who work really well with Spellblade, but the newest TF isn't really an option for them. One example would be crit Miss Fortune, Lucian, and Quinn. On the AP side, there are quite a few short/melee range champs that build Lich Bane but often start with a more defensive item or attack speed. Potential users would be Diana, Ekko, Evelynn, Akali, Shaco, Twisted Fate, Teemo, Sona, Gragas, Lulu, and Malphite.
