Cait Question For Riot

Why is it that every time Cait gets nerfs, none of them are directed at her traps? Her damage right now is fine, her attack speed right now is fine, everything except her traps right now is fine.

We know that you've seen community complaints about her traps several hundred times already, so why are they constantly ignored? What plausible reason is there to not touch her traps at all?

One good suggestion that many people have said is to lower the life span of traps that are within the enemy tower range to help her not be as oppressive. It doesn't touch her damage which barely anyone complains about, and she is still a zoning sniper (which honestly makes no sense because snipers don't really zone using traps, but that's a different discussion).

An honest answer from anyone at Riot would be appreciated.

I think i have seen about 6 or 7 threads with complaints about Caitlyn's traps. Im pretty sure this forum requires you to search in order to see whether a thread with the same topic has been discussed in the past or not. Anyway, what's the problem? I don't play cait at all, because i got used to plsy with locked camera. It's not like she can fuckin penta with her traps. They are so easily noticed. By a normal person with an average brain, of course. You just have to be careful, of course if people are used to play Master Yi or whatever, hoping that hitting some buttons will get a doublekill, they will step on a trap.
