This game DESPERATELY needs Voice Chat

So i just finished playing a couple of ranked games with Curse and honestly out of all my ranked games they have been the most fun to be in.

But there is something else that leads me to this idea that this game needs a voice chat.

This game Here

I got into a curse voice with the Wukong and Yasuo -the Yasuo fed the hell out of Olaf early and was starting to rage - we calmed him down with our words of encouragement and advice to just dont fight him anymore. He then admitted to me after the game in a much calmer manner than what he had during, that had me and the Wukong Not been there trying to verbally calm him down, he would have raged on Wukong, and the game which we barely won by a clutch victory would have probably self destructed into a toxic blame fest.

This leads me to believe a potential theory of why people are so toxic to eachother.

In text chats there is 0 humanity... all you have are words with next to no syntax or any bit of human emotion. it's just words, no different from any other text you read from day to day, and as a result it's easy to forget that the other person has their own feelings. They can get angry, they can be sad, or happy. With voice chat, when he was yelling to himself, we were able to not only stop him from raging out but calm him down -all the while NOT STOPPING to type it all out, and risk getting killed. We were able to perform a lor of clutch team plays, in a mode that is nigh devoid of teamwork, and could make quicker big decisions, that lead to us stealing the victory. We won because we had the better communication.

And another thing, It's downright hilarious to hear the sounds of anguish people make as their character goes down. This is a human reaction that you hear over voice chat, so instead of saying "DUDE FUCKING WHY" you're more prone to simply shake it off and laugh at the craziness, even in your own deaths. Subconsciously when interacting with strangers, we try to entertain them and ourselves and thus our actions become more verbal, we try to live out our actions... and as a result whenever something does go wrong instead of being angry, you laugh it off with the other teammate.

finally, having a second opinion really does help. Lucian was starting to be toxic in that game towards the yasuo. I simply told him to mute the guy and he did - end of problem.

We won because Yasuo didn't stop to rage at Wukong in chat and risk being put further behind.

Now then i do understand that you will occasionally get that person who is toxic even in voice..... like normal voice chat you can just mute this person and solve the vocal problem that arises.

Essentially the system is the same as the one we have in place, just with a bit more human emotion thrown into the mix.

Thoughts?

Yes. Why not as dota has it. Don't like it? Have 2 different mutes. One for voice, one for text. (Maybe one more for pings if they're just ping spamming you.)

Have it be in the settings you can particulate and hear it definitely. But it could help rank a lot.

No, just no. All that would do would increase the lag in game making it hard to play. Worst the trolls making me listen as they smash keys on a laptop key board or breath extra heavey into the mic.

Yep. I totally want more 12 year olds no longer typing: "Fuck you jungler. You so fucking bad for never ganking. (Even though I was busy trying to keep the fed Darius under control and the Vayne from reaching late game)" Instead I get to hear their pre-pubescent voices cracking while screaming at me, YAY

Riot wouldnt want to spend time and money on a system that would just end up causing more headaches than its worth. I'm sure we've all experienced voice chat in a first person shooter at least once.
