[Suggestions] New Critical Strike/AD Items - Sacred Blade, Medallion of Pain and Thirstmaker

Hey guys i'm full of ideas of making a few items for AD/Critical Strike champions. Since the big decrease and gold income on GP's Q and his other nerfs made him fall off of the meta a bit, but he is still strong. Sacred Blade will contain a reworked Avarice Blade that he could build to make up for his nerfs.

[REWORKED]

http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/leagueoflegends/images/2/2d/Avarice_Blade_item.png/revision/latest?cb=20130319090106 Avarice Blade

  • 10 Attack Damage

  • 10% Critical Strike

  • 1350 Gold

UNIQUE PASSIVE - AVARICE: 2+ Gold per 10 seconds.

UNIQUE PASSIVE - CRITICAL GREED: After critting a target, grants + 2% critical chance for 8 seconds. Stacks 5 times. Can recieve multiple stacks by critting multiple targets at the same time.

Builds from:

item 1036 350 gold item 1051 400 gold 600 Gold for completion with all its components.

This new passive is kind of random, but for GP and champions that utilize critical strikes alot, it may help having more combat stats.

  • 55 Attack Damage

  • 25% Critical Strike Chance

  • 3400 Gold

UNIQUE PASSIVE - BLEEDING: Critical basic attacks against enemy champions bleeds for 1% of their current health each second, for 4 seconds. Deals physical damage.

Builds from:

http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/leagueoflegends/images/2/2d/Avarice_Blade_item.png/revision/latest?cb=20130319090106 1350 Gold item 1038 1300 Gold 750 Gold for completion with all its components.

The unique passive is similar to Lord Van Damm's Pillager, but dealing physical damage and doing 4% of their current for 4 seconds. It has counterplay, due to being physical damage. Easier to itemize with armor.

As for the item, obviously the AVARICE passive needs to go for a final item. The item can also work for marksman.

  • 40 Attack Damage

  • 10% Life Steal

  • 3100 Gold

UNIQUE PASSIVE - PEN: 12% Armor Penetration

UNIQUE PASSIVE - STILL SHREDING: Basic attacks against an enemy champion will decrease their armor by 8% for 3 seconds. This only affects you and does not affect ally champions or any other ally units.

Build from:

item 1053 900 Gold item 3134 1100 Gold 1100 Gold for completion with all its components.

This item might not be that great, but it's perfect for late game. It's literally the old Last Whisper. With less armor penetration than old Last Whisper, it still helps with the Lifesteal and the extra AD.

  • 25 Attack Damage

  • 15% Life Steal

  • 25% Critical Strike Chance

  • 3000 Gold

UNIQUE PASSIVE - SAVAGE: Falling below 20% of your max health grants you 25% Critical Strike Chance and 20 Attack Damage for 8 seconds.

Build from:

item 1018 800 Gold item 1053 900 Gold 1300 Gold for completion with all its components.

Nothing to say to this one to be honest. Unique passive similar to Maw.

don't get me wrong, i like diversity, but is even more AD items what riot should be focusing wight now? i believe not.

I don't know. Riot made Duskblade. And even though it has a few overloaded stats, the passive makes it worth buying. And it's a 75 AD item with Armor penetration in it. Was it worth the release? I don't know. Personally never experienced it, but it may be helpful for 1 target burst. Was it the right time for riot to release that item? Yes because people though "oh crap Zed is OP pls nerf", but in the end it's not that great for a 1st item. (Not saying it isn't a great item. It's great, but not for a 1st item).

I think that Riot should give AP champions a bit of love. The AP item rework, as well as MR being so easy to stack, has almost forced AP champions completely out of the meta. Almost every previously strong AP item got a nerf in the rework and no new items were introduced. item 3157 , for example, costs 550 more and offers less stats than before. I really feel like Riot should just make some new AP items to help them. For example, AP champions don't have a cleanse unless they build QSS and never upgrade it (taking up an item slot for literally only the active and no stats when used against, say, a Zed) or they build item 3222 , which only allows them to cleanse allies and not themselves, thus leaving there no counterplay for a mage against a CC heavy team or champion because you can't use Hourglass active while cced. I think a new AP cleanse item (also building out of QSS) would be a good idea, as well as a few other AP items to introduce to widen potential mage and AP assassin build paths with the AP champion rework. They hit the ADC rework right on the money, and I hope they do the same with the AP champion rework, and give us mages some options in our build path like they intended to do with the AP item rework. Right now, if you look up any guide for a mage, you will most likely find that it includes item 3165 , item 3089 , a item 3285 , and likely a {{item:3027} . Deathcap and Luden's are guaranteed on there for every mage ever. I'm just saying, they need more diversity in AP items, not more AD items to make up for GP's nerfs.

The passive on Medallion of Pain would need to be capped lest it shred all of their armor.

Where did you get your images? Did you make them? They look like Riot's old style.

Yep. All of the images I use now are removed items from the game. The Medallion's passive ONLY applies 8%, no more.
