What lane to start in?

Hey guys, I'm starting back in League after a short break (like 3-4 months) A lot has changed since then. What lane (please be warned that I suck in Jung) and what champs do I get/main?

Either Mid or Top.

You need a solo lane to get a grip of the game and after you can focus on teamplay.

it does not matter you are unranked. Just learn some that you like.

Just a matter of taste, see which one you'd like more to play.

dont go mid or bot, go top. that way you focus on lane mechanics first. mid is a gank magnet for top, bot and jungle and you may be forced to abandon lane early, while bot is just hard.

idk each person is different. All lanes have strengths and weakness.

It may sound deep but it is really not. You are the only one that can find the lane you yourself.

If I may make a suggestion watch some streams or watch the pro's play(vod are available) you might find inspiration or at least learn about the lanes.

Do some tank junglers.. its kind hard to mess up right now, you farm like mad maybe gank a few times and get 3000HP by 15 mins :)

Is Diana top lane still good? I mean my 2nd best role is top lane..I do know that much..

Top lane Renekton or Vlad is always an easy starting point, and plenty of ADCs are mechanically simple and easy to use.

But fo real, if there was ever a time to start jungling it's now, since the tanks are back to viability, Naut, Amumu and Sejuani are all really strong and easy to use.

I really hope they don't change the jungle where they make tanks not viable again. Tank junglers is literally the most balanced thing in the game right now. I play mainly Nautilus and Maokai, even though I can't hard carry. I can constantly gank lanes and hope my team mates pull ahead and secure objectives. It's so much fun.
