I dunno. She didn't seem THAT bad and still doesn't seem THAT bad. She's supremely squishy so punish her with a decent harassing champ and it could work. Remember, all her heals are a sacrifice of her own health so keeping an ADC alive means slowly siphoning herself. Burst the ADC down and she'll be easy pickings.

"Oh, but her Q heals her!" Goddammit, it's wildly telegraphed. Just walk out of it. Stop AAing minions and walk out of it. Boom, she loses her personal sustain.

Soraka's winrate actually improved this patch, which is quite ironic since it was supposed to be a nerf.

A good soraka will just her W her carry, E under the enemies focusing them, and ult if their ADC is getting bursted, mitigating the enemy teams damage long enough for her to get her second W off, likely with her Q bonus added since its hilariously easy to hit in a teamfight. Not to mention item 3190

A good Soraka will use her Q whenever you are last hitting to either focus you to attempt to dodge its respectable damage, or lose cs. Either way, its not a very good trade off whichever one you pick.

I am wondering whether her winrate is a result of greater exposure in the lcs by Adrian. I've been seeing a lot more Janna's and Soraka's since this season started with Adrian on Immortals. He had the highest K/D/A for a long time. I bet people started researching her more and tried emulating his play.

Frankly, the 6.5 mini rework made Soraka more op. Riot wanted her to be more interactive, but now what that results in is her now wanting to actually bother poking you with Q in lane, always getting the slow, and having more sustained healing while being weaker to allins. Basically, if the enemy team didnt pick Blitzcrank , Soraka wins. Raka is my 3rd most played champion btw, so trust me when i say i know how disgusting she is. :D

Next next patch. Then after they'll buff this failure of a champ again cause meddler plays her. Rinse repeat till the games dead and we've all moved on to the next big thing.

In my experience with (new) new Soraka she feels stronger in lane than before, but way worse once you get to the teamfight stage. No way her health pool can keep up in long drawn-out brawls with the piddly HoT she gets from her Q. So she's great in skirmishes, and that's about it.
