How do you guys feel about the changes to Assassin itemization?

Now that we've all had a patch to test all these items out, we should discuss whether or not the itemization changes were a success. So here's a survey of sorts - you don't need to literally answer all these questions, but these are some discussion guides.

item 3147 item 3814 item 3142

Do you think these items provide worthy early-mid game purchases for AD Assassins? Do you think these items cater well to the playstyle of AD Assassins? How do you feel about the state of these items when used on champions who are not AD Assassins?

item 3252 Do you think Poacher's Dirk is a worthwhile buy for AD junglers, and AD Assassin junglers in particular? Do you think its tuned well in terms of how long it takes to upgrade? Do you like the items concept? Would you like to see other experimental items like this?

--- Other AD Assassin Items ---

Do you believe there are any holes missing in AD Assassin itemization? Are the non-lethality AD items that AD Assassins buy good and/or satisfying for them?

--- AP Assassin Items ---

Would you like to see similar item options for AP Assassins? What in particular would you like to see from a new AP Assassin item?

I personally have been very satisfied with the Lethality items in my time playing with them. While Youmuu's is somewhat notably nerfed (though it deserved it for the most part), its still a satisfying early buy that really enhances the AD Assassin playstyle. Duskblade has also been very fun to use, and I think Riot has done a good job tuning it in a way where its damage proc is most useful for Assassins - even the fabled Duskblade Vayne has failed to really take off. Edge of Night feels less exciting to me than the other two, but its still useful in certain matchups or when behind against an AP lane. I'd love to see some similar item options for AP Assassins considering that most AP Assassin items either weren't meant to be for assassins (Protobelt) or have ended up working better on long range mages (Luden's).

ad assassins are way too tanky with their itemization

try to build armor as a mage and mr as an ad assassin and you will see the difference

hexdrinker (and maw) is especially should be gutted

Hourglass counters AP assassins as much as or MORE than ADs, since AD's have powerful auto attacks while a champion like fizz, who is 100% reliant on shark late game, has the ult countered by hourglass and is then useless. Meanwhile all AD assassins have to do is have enough MR to survive the burst from mages/AP sins and they auto win, which with edge of night, maw (with the shield) and other items that I see them going such as steraks, they do. Meanwhile armor does literally nothing as I can have 200 armor and still take half my health from literally one vayne tumble who only has 2 items.
