@Riot, do you think we can have more In-Game Events like The Hunt is On! ?

I absolutely love these game-within-a-game events, but you never see them. Even when they first appeared i've only seen each even once

The Hunt is On! and Battle for the Freljord are such an impossibly rare occurrence but some of the most interesting/fun things that can happen inside of a default game. The event triggers and a Rengar rallies his team to dive mid, or a lone Kha'Zix stealths his way into Rengar's jungle path.

when i see an enemy pick a certain champion, i always jump on their corresponding rival if i have the chance I know there are a ton of higher priorities but i just wanted to bring them up again. Even the minion-enhancers like Project SYNC were great and it would be awesome if we could trigger them by having 3+ Project/Star Guardian/Pool Party skins on one team

The Hunt is On should be a game mode featuring Rengar and Kha'Zix.

Each team is either Rengar or Kha, and you scour the map killing smaller creatures to build up power. With this power you can unlock enhanced abilities (Such as longer leap range for Rengar, bleed effect on Rengar Q, smaller ferocity bar, movement detection for Kha when standing still, etc.)

You can choose to seek and kill your opponent, or build up your power and take your chances. The map will be large, but every time your opponent makes a kill on a small creature they leave tracks.

Maybe this could be a 1v1 3-4 round deal where each round lasts about 2-5 minutes. Teammates can spectate and chat, and attempt to help their teammate win the hunt. First blood signifies the end of the round.

It sounds boring and could use work, but it has so much potential.

Kha'zix & Rengar mains would be nutting if this mode actually would exist lol.

The big problem with this is that Rengars could potentially just 5 up and fuck over kha'zix because isolation mechanics.

Edit: Nvm, saw it was 1v1 rounds and not 5v5s.

While fun in norms there stupid in ranked. Abd there was a time not too recently that ren and kha were pick ban and i saw it a lot. The hunt for frejlords rare though ive seen it once out of like 150 games because of the nature of aram

Well you can just code so that they're not in ranked game then right kinda like how Winter Rift didn't appear in rank games. :^)

More than likely yes but a rioter would have to confirm that because the map might be easier to have 2 seperate codes than champs.

This has been a long running request.

I think the only thing standing in their way is preventing the game from becoming oversaturated with side-objectives.

Say they added a Shen VS Zed quest, a Leona VS Diana quest, and a Warwick VS Camille quest.

What would happen if you had all of those champions in the same game?

New Event: Pick Yasuo, Riven, Lulu, Vayne and Rengar in one game and Devil Teemo will spawn instead of Baron Nashor.

Alright, so I'm going to explain why I think this is a great idea.

Part of what makes these events so much fun is that it encourages risk taking. In The Hunt Is On, the players playing Kha'Zix and Rengar want the reward, because it is an incredibly hefty reward. The way it makes players feel is good design. It's exciting. It makes players feel like they're in a battle. It's immensely satisfying when you succeed. Positive feedback loops like this are rare in League, since a lot of the functions in the game are created to allow players a skill-based 5v5 format. The issue that I think functions like this one have are balance levers, but I think it's easily remedied with some dedication. It makes these games feel unique. It's a** memorable**, meaningful experience.

I dig them a lot. I don't think they should be involved with ranked or championship style play, but I'd love to see more of them.

Agreed. I get that a lot of LoL is focused on competitive play, which is fine, but having fun things pop up in more casual settings would be great.

Maybe if they go back to rework some of the older rival characters like Kayle/Morgana or Jarvan/Swain they can add some more of these. League has tons of duality and rivalries in the story, there's room for more non intrusive quests like this.

I don't get why that passive Quest gets to be so game-changing but not others, Riot now just made Champions that are objectively stronger if in the same game together so at this point they should do a run-through of all the hidden passes and actually make them something.

But I might just be biased cause I would love some sort of similar passive when you play with Jinx against Cait/Vi instead of the Lame one that just keeps score of who killed who.

I want Orianna to have something with Viktor . A battle of the robots, maybe? Ori could 'scrap' Viktor if she killed him and take extra XP or an item. Maybe every time she killed Viktor she got half of her needed XP for the level. And maybe Viktor could have an extra skill point from 'researching' Ori?
