Especially in low elos, where CS sucks and kills are worth relatively more.....death costs more than 450g. You are also not csing or other useful stuff and allowing them to free-farm, roam, etc during the time you are dead. Keep in mind, your death time is NOT just how long your screen is gray, but also the time you waste walking all the way back to lane.
So many games are lost simply because people don't play safe and keep feeding.

Then I can get bitched at for not following my laner that would have killed me if I did so. That's so much better than getting an extra 200-500 gold worth of cs and dying from an all-in.
You say "stop dying" like its done on purpose, rather than a consequence of not fully grasping positioning, minion aggro, and other contributing factors for lower level players.
