Kindred's ult is a disappointment

I'm sure by now a lot of us have heard of the next new champion coming to live and have probably watched her skills and gameplay one way or another. And I'm almost positive a lot of you have had the same reaction when you seen her ult.. "Huh?"

In all honesty I can't wait to buy kindred I love that she is a marksmen made for the jungle titled as a hunter and in every aspect she's made to target someone with her passive go in and kill. Love her kit her passive her Q, W, and E.. But her Ult just baffles me, I think riot went in the wrong direction with her ult.

She's a hunter ok, made to select an enemy and go after them, well while fighting the enemy you ult let's say..that totally defeats the purpose of her to me. She can't die they can't die and you both heal...it goes against what she's made for in my opionion, I was looking forward to a cool new damaging ult since the last couple champs released like tham and bard ultimates are kinda utility/ support based since they are supports but you have a hunter jungler that has in my opinion a support based ultimate..

Any ideas what you guys would of preferred her ult to be?
