So... Leblanc.
Is she supposed to be able to deal upwards of 4k damage in a single rotation late game with a full build? Should assassins burst tanks from full HP?

I call BS unless you show me a clip of that happening.
And honestly Mel, I hate to actually have to tell you, but you've been increasingly whiny about certain topics lately and It's really painting a bad example of the mod team for them to indulge in such low quality, salt fueled rants.
Yes. If the tank isn't building magic resist because he's busy building armor against his laner like a cuck

I liek armor.
That's fucking nothing wtf? She propably had fully stacked Spellbinder when she bursted you. These 2 items give 65 MR total unless you stack Wit's End so if you had 166 MR it got reduced by 40% (~66) by Void Staff then by 26 from Sorceress Boots and Sudden Impact combo which left you at ~74 MR. That isn't much against fed LB with Electrocute and stacked Spellbinder. You also played with Precision and Inspiration as your runes so without Resolve you were even more squishy for her. There are also things like like infernals and baron buffs in this game so LB could have even more AP then expected. We don't know for sure if she really did 100-0 you with a SINGLE rotation, you could be poked down a bit or took few Q's before getting bursted which means replay or didn't happen.
void staff vs 100 magic resist EDIT: 113 Magic resist at level 18 with those 2 items just checked wiki and after magic penetration is calculated you have 53 magic resist because % reduction comes before sorc shoes
Reverted LB is ridiculous with the new rune system since it gives so much damage. You can make the argument that it also gives plenty of sustain too. The problem with reverted LB is when she was just old LB (before the rework) it didn't really matter what runes you took because runes didn't have that much of an impact in lane. Now with the new rune system though, Scorch + Sudden Impact vamps your damage up significantly more and you can't forget about the base stats each tree gives (bonus AP, AD, health, etc). When you pair a champion like LB who has high base damage in my opinion with a new rune system that vamps your damage significantly in the early game, she's bound to get out of control and burst anyone down throughout all points of the game because she's most likely going to be ahead.
Im sure 4k isnt exactly accurate but lets go off that number. Leblanc has 4 spells which all do damage, if she just dropped a tank from 4k in one rotation that means each spell did around 1k damage each after initial damage reduction.
I personally doubt she did anywhere near that amount of damage. But for the sake of your question, no assassins should not be able to do that, and no that is not healthy at all.
If shes hitting a tank for 4k then shes hitting a carry for a lot more then that.
Her Q was enough to nearly blow up our carries. With Luden'a proc it was enough.
Everyone was full build.

I just saw the op.gg...
93.6K damage in a 52 minute game, My god i haven't seen damage numbers like that since Season 3. Especially from someone who doesn't do AoE damage, aside from her (W).
If a 3800 HP tank with 166 MR gets blown up by an assassin in less than a second, it's just wrong.

Yea even without Magic Resist those are large numbers. To be fair though, your team severely lacked Magic Resist. No
on
, No
on
. I personally would have dropped that
and got a
or
. Another counter to magic damage is HP, which
doesnt provide.
would have crippled her burst on you big time.

Impossible for her to rip through 3800 hp unless she has massive amounts of a and that is ignoring the mr.

Psh, I get numbers than that in most of my silver games. But then again, I stopped CSing in my games and only focus on decimating my opposing laner nowadays. At 52 minutes that's not even that impressive.

Id expect those numbers from an ADC, not an assassin. I went back and looked for any 50+ minute game i had on record and only found one. I was
7/11/21 did 55k damage. The opposing mid laner was
16/9/8 and he only did 37k damage.
came close with 85k.
If assassins are shelling out 90K+ damage in a 50 minute game, that must be a low elo thing cause thats extremely rare in my rank.
Agreed, I think LeBlanc's damage is too much. I hope something is done to add counterplay against her. I really felt her rework was successful, but if the gameplay team didn't think it was, so they could have just tweaked her a bit instead of reverting her to her current iteration. I also might suggest lowering her W's speed so that people can dodge her W more easily if the intend to keep a ton of damage on her W. You have to be very reflexive to dodge her W properly, and constantly keep watch at all times, since LeBlanc's combos happen pretty fast.
She was blowing up Lux under her turret since level 4.
That's not normal, is it?
Well , it's the price she is paying for having a bad wave clear , blowing people is the only thing she can do in a game where objectives are everything
She used to have bad waveclear as a weakness.
That basically disappears after her Luden's.
"Bad" Waveclear is not only the ability to kill the wave, of course she can after a couple of items. With only ludens she can kill the casters with one dash, be not the rest. What makes her so bad is the type of Waveclear - she has to jump in which makes her extremely bad at defending, even when she is ahead. She might have more damage than she should (it is way more than original pre Rework LeBlanc), but it needs to be on a similar level in order to make her useful
Looks like a full rotation is 1485 + 3.6AP.
Toss on Ludens and Electrocute at level 18, 1805 + 4.0 AP + 0.5 bAD
Build was

Which is 525 AP 48 AP from runes 80 from Spellbinder Active 653 * 1.4 = 914, assuming no Infernals 8 MPen from Sudden Impact 40% MPen from Void 15 MPen from boots 166 MR after this is 76.6 Effective health on 3800 with 77 MR is 6710 1805 + 4(914) + 0.5(0) = 5461.
Getting one rotationed doesn’t quite check out. Somebody else also whack ya? Where there Epic monster buffs in play?
Also with a Lichbane or Gunblade or Seraph’s in place of that Zhonya, she’d’ve done even more.
Still, it is quite a lot of damage.
Did you check drakes? Maybe there was an infernal or two. She might have also had Elder on, I don't quite remember.
Depends on a few factors, most notably how much mpen in her build.
I think when they get really fed, all bets are off.
The game can't really be reliably balanced for cases where the enemy gets really out of control. A Leblanc who is even with the tank should not be able to do that, but if she's way ahead... shrug
Both were full build.
She had a void staff.
AP AGINST AMMOR, HMMM....
I don't know. I've haven't had any trouble vs LeBlanc for sometime.
How she got to roam at lvl4 bugs me a little. Considering she's not a threat at all pre-6 so you can trade her easy and has 0 wave clear.
It makes sense to me that she one-shot anyone without veil or something to block her mark. That one item counter her hard.
Riot changed her for a reason. Sucks that the employees at Riot that remember are not there anymore and the new group dont know how to read past patch notes.
Won’t know ban every game by me.
Lb is completely broken. Her stuns range is absurd
Nitpicking here: She doesn't stun. She roots .. ah, well, since death is the strongest CC, she also kills you very dead. I guess you are quite stunned if you are dead. My mistake. ;)
It's not just Leblanc. The entire game has been and continues to be power creeped.
For Leblanc though, the dash damage is way too much in my opinion. It's aoe and mobility, it should not be the burst skill of choice. Using it to get into range to burst with Q would be fine. However, when I look at my death recap it shows Leblanc using mimic on their dash for 1.6k damage.
She should be kept in a weaker than desired state until she gets sufficient changes imo.
remember this game where enemy team had a leb that got really fed like it was min 15 and she already had 10 kills, the tank couldn't even stand her
was only useful to save tank life so leb wouldn't trust him down, we managed to win cuz we had a veigar supp on our team and he was bursting her in any chance, but definitely our tank couldn't stand the fed leb even with mercs and spiritV.
4k damage is far less than a tank's EHP.
