I literally can't move past my damn bot turret because of Caitlyn's traps. We're both forced to sit there with 0 way to counter it at all. We can't farm, while Cait and her supp can do whatever they want for the time. Nevermind the fact that you can't even see them behind your turret...
This needs to be fixed. Nothing to counter at all.

Cait's win rate is under 50% it's barely over 50 for mains. She is very average compared to other ADCs.
If you can't move past bot tower, it's because you let her lay those traps without consequence.
If you see an obstacle in your way, go around it. Just because you can't freely autopath toward your target doesn't mean you're "stuck in your turret the whole laning phase."

Her traps cost mana and can be easily countered, Also you only get 3 at the start of the game

Caitlyn's ability to zone and bully has definitely improved since her rework.
This is largely necessary to keep Kog'maw, Jinx and Vayne from being played too often, however,
Hyper carries are bad against lane bullies. Yes, THAT bad. If you were Jhin, Lucian, Tristana, Ezreal, or Miss Fortune you could use your mobility or powerful zoning pressure to push Cait away from her traps.
Cait is designed to slow down and shut down hyper carries. That's her job. Yes, if you pick a hyper carry and you let Cait set up, you deserve to miss CS and get zoned all laning phase. If that doesn't happen, Cait isn't doing her job.
uhm to be honest, the best thing you can do is make your support eat at least one trap, yes she will damage you but during laning phase her traps dont do much unless she actually builds for it... supoorts like blitz are amazing against her because you get an idea where she's going to stand to shoot you, or a healer that can restore dmg done by traps or even a tank that can soak the damage for you, sivir is quite good as well.

I still can't stand it when I lay a trap right over an incoming TF's card portal landing spot and he combos me to death before the trap even stuns him. It's horseshit. If he lands there, he shouldn't be able to auto attack me the instant he appears in it. He should be stunned. I think he's coded to perform his buffered attacks a few frames before anything there regards his location. I can't stand it. I die so much to that bs it's not funny.
