his burst is pretty bad now, he's almost entirely about sustained damage
probably going to switch to using AD as his primary offensive stat since voidlings scale so well with it
Honestly, he is already hard to deal with in lane unless you have your jungler gank him. I mean every time you go in, you get ulted by him and that ult duration lasts forever.
So yeah, now he's going to take little damage when you go in cause he will be saving that passive for that moment!
Yeah as a Malzahar main I'm a bit confused.
He seems a lot more problematic balance wise at this point unless they really gutted his numbers.
See, I'm more concerned about his W and how well it will pair with a zz-rot. Think about it: he gets +55 armor/MR (harder to kill), hp regen (longer survivability), and gets roughly 3-4 full minions every 10 seconds. Combined with TP and a zhonyas, and you're looking at someone who can instantly go into any lane and cause a massive minion wave push in a matter of seconds. Not saying he still isn't weak (them removing most of the damage out of his ulti just sucks), but I would not be surprised to see tons of people playing tank malz when he does come out.
