Stop Complaining About AFKs In Matches (short rant)

Yes, having AFK players sucks. No, there is nothing Riot can do about it.

The only 2 things Riot could do is either : Give every player perfect internet providers and amazing computers. Or If they somehow magically force every AFK player to play their matches.

I don't see either one happening, especially the 2nd one, so grow up and stop blaming Riot for this happening and telling them to fix it or give you your LP back. Do you think LoL is the only game with this problem? It's a PvP video game, this kind of problem will exist in 90+% of PvP video games.

Go play matches instead of wasting time whining on the boards about how it's unfair and only happens to you.

The person who leaves gets a 5x LP and MMR loss. The people on the team of the person who leaves lose no LP or MMR. The people on the enemy team get the normal rewards for a win. If more than one person leaves, things can be adjusted accordingly. This feature is active for only solo queue.

DOta2 punishes the afker and lets the rest leave the game after 5 minutes while still giving the winning team their win. They could also double LP lose for afks and half the remaining players lose. these are just things that are already in place in other MOBAs the are not as old as LoL. Maybe one day Riot will care to caught up with everyone else.
