Now obviously the chances of this causing a smurf to to play like crap are pretty low, but it can make the game a lot less frustrating if you do run into one.
Common smurf champions include: 
. These are not the only ones, just the only ones I can think of right now. Most players wont object to bans towards these champions either so would don't have to worry about pissing off someone unless declared that champion.

NekoniClaws1 votesI know it's implied, but people on those champs who go 20/5? Generally aren't smurfs- they're just exploiting the meta of glass-canon heavy comps that low elo is. But for that reason they're still excellent bans for the average team.
It's a good strat to follow-- ban your team's weakness. If it's all over the place, ban another laner's strongest counter.
