Please stop playing Lux support . . . It's just so unreliable. Just go mid please, if you want to go with a supportive build that's great but please just take it to mid. Her shield is really strong but it's so difficult to land and 90% of the Lux supports I see don't even max shield 2nd or first....

There's actually a good reason why people aren't currently maxing W first or second. In this damage heavy meta where everyone that goes bot lane can poke, you'll fall off extremely hard if you do. Maxing E gives you more damage. More damage is better atm. If damage gets toned down eventually, shield will go back to being more effective as an earlier spell to rank.

Final Spark Lux2 votesI don't take farm, I consistently spam my spells when they're up and I know I'll land them, it isn't sniping kills when I'm doing 99% of the damage to them. Mikaels just means I need to chain my spells instantly. Be confident that youll land them and don't give them a chance to cleanse the snare. My peel is actually really reliable. Gl attacking my ADC when you're dead.
Also I'll never leave you alone. I'm getting mobility boots and staying with you where ever you go because that's my job. :3

Final Spark Lux1 votesMobility is better for roaming when your ADC goes to base but you have nothing to do and your wave is already pushed. Only time it's acceptable to leave your ADC alone.

Final Spark Lux1 votesPositioning is more effective than trying to run out of a fight. It's the first line of defense. The mobility boots are more effective for roaming and warding, and generally that tiny amount of extra MS in combat isn't going to save you if they're already close enough to hit you.

ThinkB4Plays1 votesI hate lux support. They don't do anything during team fights. No protection. Their q, which is their only stun is so easy for enemy to dodge. As an adc main, I always ban lux if our support is going to play lux. Please rather play lulu for godsake.
Your Otter1 votesShe's not really a traditional "support" so maxing shield on her is bad. Her supporting could be the same as Vel'Koz, Zyra, Xerath, Brand. All of them are supports who deal heavy dmg and can poke well. They don't have shields or anything.
In short: she's a damage dealing support supposed to melt ADCs and squishy targets.
