Top lane feels the most isolated and least impactful it has even been

Ever since first turret gold and weaker bottom turret. In turn the Island is more isolated then it use to be.

Riot decided to make bot lane more worth protecting and has kinda left top lane in a state of you don't matter much so do your best to farm. We can't even do much for TP ganks anymore due to the 4 second cast time meaning fights are usually over before we can get there.

There were other options to counteract lane swapping but that would have likely required making supports not want to stick with the marksmen most of the time in turn completely destroying one part of the meta that has been for the most part constant. Irony is that the support + marksmen bot meta is kinda getting challenged in other ways this season.

maybe if they nerfed rift herald, more junglers would gank then more safely take herald

Rift is so useless you only get it because its basically an objective to pass the time and is a little lift

I think they mean make it easier to kill so that getting the buff isn't a virtual suicide mission.

Top Lane is pretty focused on who's getting more farm and who has more dmg and kills and it's pretty much for people who like to work alone in general.
