What pisses me off the most

Is that some champs just get stuff for free, because supposedly they need it. Some get free damage via high base damage in their kit, some get high out scaling potential, some get true damage, some get true damage on top of already getting high base damage, some get pretty good passives that are very effective.

..and then there are those champions that are left to dry out in the sun. This has always upset me because I have always been a Wukong main and he never sees the light of day (patch changes). I understand he is considered "balanced" even though just about everything around him has changed since the last time he has received a change himself. He is on the underwhelming side of "balanced". The side that has no big advantage, that isn't meta, that doesn't see pro play, and has barely any reason to be played because another champion does it better. Wukong has no identity, he is just bare bones straight forward, simple, nothing special. He is under whelmingly decent in lane, which is not enough in today's League of Legends, and he pretty much does not have a passive making things worse. I mean seriously his passive must be one of the shittiest un-interactive passives in the game right now. The only reason I play him is because I have always loved playing with him, and for the most part I have one tricked him.

This isn't necessarily about Wukong though. It is about the idea that some champs get specific advantages for specific reasons, and others don't seem to have anything going for them at all. I don't follow meta, I don't play what Riot wants me to play I play what I want to play, and I will continue to do so.

Have a nice day.

I understand what you are saying, it does make sense. I have tried other champions though and have always reverted to Wukong. It just feels like i'm punished for wanting to play Wukong. And his passive is OKAY once team fights start In the mid game. But it is inherently useless all lane phase, and not effective at all unless it is a large teamfight. His passive just isn't consistent at all.

I disagree that certain champs should be balanced differently because they are favorited for pro play. Champs shouldn't revolve around the pro players, it should be the other way around. Pro players should make use of what they got, instead of Riot making sure they got what they need. But I don't know that's just me.

I guess I really just am fucked for choosing to play the simple champion, so I just get the simple experience, and simply am at a disadvantage. I must fit the niche of champions meant for the unskilled and braindead. Anyway, thanks for the reply.

It's been a problem for years, and has only been getting worse; I feel you man, half my roster is next to unplayable from stuff like this stacking up.

People say that you need simple champions, but when was the last time they put out a new "simple" champion. Every champion nowadays has some gimmick, and is always broken when they first get released. All reworks have the same effect. Being a simple champion in League of Legends, or not fitting in a " niche", and getting the advantage that comes from that, just means you are playing at a disadvantage plain and simple.

I'd say the reworked sion was decently simple, but yeah overloaded or easily abusable champions still outclass most everything else in their class, the power-creep has degenerated the game so hard.

By "stuff for free" do you mean things like the armor shred handed out to champs like Garen, Wukong, GP, Darius, and Yasuo?

Yes, that is exactly what I mean. Go ahead and compare them and tell me which one is the most effective.

Crushing blow is point and click, out of stealth. Literally guaranteed. That's why its weaker. Its reliable. You cant be stopped from duskblading a target of your choice and then Cycloning everything to death, or cycloning your way out.

Wukong is a good champion.

If you activate Q while in stealth you become visible as Wukong. Is Garen's or Darius' armor shred less reliable? Hmm

30% is higher than 25%, right? Let's just start there.

are u proposing that all champions just walk towards eachother, all with no abilities, everyone has the same base stats, and everyone is melee?

Sounds exciting.

Riot, I DEMAND you make my favorite champ OP right now damnit!

Nah, the post wasn't technically about Wukong, but since Wukong is my main and what I have one tricked since I started playing League I speak from that perspective. I am not asking to making him OP.

Neither was mine, it applies equally to anyone complaining that even though 'their' champ is fine they should be buffed to be as shiny, new and OP as whatever they consider the champs they're comparing them to be.

Heh, 2 of my most played champs are Lux and Annie. I wouldn't say they need updates just because they basically haven't been changed from release aside from Annie's VU.
