Riot needs a jungler tutorial. It seems like alot of junglers are like "Farm simulator" or "Leave me alone until i am SUPER strong late game" lol late game right? like your team is ever going to survive, by that time the opposing team is getting kills and assists and even towers and cs. Its the least you could do right? help out a lane. feels like there should be a contract between the teams, "Help jungler leash, Get a gank" XD

What about those of us who jungle, never ever get a leash, always let bot lane take the krugs or gromp, and still participate in a lane once every minute or so?

Any one who needs a leash isn't jungling right anyways and it shouldn't be required to give one to get a gank.

Its a feelsbadman situation, when even the Jungler has a bad time. but honestly that why i think there should be video or tutorial on jungling, cause it is different than being in lane, even the Ai BOTS dont jungle.

So who's to say whats the right way to jungle and how to help a jungler.

I honestly help leash every jungler i can, maybe even take a few hits before returning to lane.

But if a lane is not doing well, or if all lanes are going to shit, whos going to weigh in and help out?

Thats all, i dont hate junglers, just the system that is in place.

Good point.

Well, I should think being a top 1% player for almost 4 years now and recently becoming a top 1% jungler specifically that I have some credibility in that department. Its pretty easy to me and can be simplified as "your job as the jungler is to win every lane if possible. One lane for sure at the bare minimum, and then coordinate your winning lane(s) with effective communication and a good gameplan."

I honestly help leash every jungler i can, maybe even take a few hits before returning to lane.

Yeah, and thats a wonderful thing to do, bully to you for being a good teammate. If your jungler was a good teammate he would open the game right, not need a leash at all, and let you have the krugs or gromp for bot lane level 2 cheese. This is the optimal use of resources, its mathematically proven.

But if a lane is not doing well, or if all lanes are going to shit, whos going to weigh in and help out?

Your jg! Really though, they should have the awareness to PREVENT lanes from falling behind in the first place.

Thats all, i dont hate junglers, just the system that is in place.

Its not great is it?

No other game has a designated jungler, probably another reason why so much is done to balance it and the player inside.

If every lane is inting, the best option is to farm hard and take kills when available. Usually, even then, the game is a lost cause.

The absolute WORST thing a jungler can EVER do in this game is "farm hard" and ignore the lanes.

OP has it right, thats the way to play it in that situation.

I'm on the boards fairly often. Habit after 6 years of always being here. Ask away.

I feel like what we're discussing is incredibly situational. I never said to ignore lanes, but say your Jinx is 2/15/7, it's probably best not to gank their lane, unless the enemy is over extending without summoners or something. Granted, I don't play jungle, unless I'm playing Khazix or Evelynn .

that game is pretty much over

Point is, if every lane is getting dumpstered, I would much rather have my jungler farming and making plays only when they can work out 100% of the time.

If all of your lanes are losing to the point where you have lost two or three towers already, you no longer really have a jungle.

You need to start assisting lanes.

There's a difference between AFK farming and farming while looking for ganks that will work. If the ganks you force don't work, you're putting both yourself and the team further behind.

It's not always about ganking. Sometimes you will need to counter gank. Sometimes you will need to cover a turret to allow a low hp laner to back safely without being dove. You need to ward for your laners, you are the baby sitter. You can't baby sit the babies At their house while sitting in your own house.

If every lane gets dumpstered it's because the Jg was farming instead of doing his job a and turned the game into a 4v5.

Guys, I average a little over 5 cs a minute as a Jg, and about half the time I manage closer to 6. I'm hitting between 100-130 at 20 minutes. And I STILL manage to gank in every lane in that time frame about 3 or 4 times. You never, ever, ever want to focus on farming as a Jg. Do what I do, only farm what's on the way to your next gank. If I can manage pro level Jg cs doing it this way and manage to also participate in about 10-15 kills, you can too. Never, ever, ever, turn the game into a 4v5 by power farming the Jg. Not. Ever. You will always let every lane lose if you do.

Snip

Ok, made it home. Here are a few examples of games that happened this season where an intentional feeder occurred on my teams.

https://i.gyazo.com/cd1d08d632c2b6a2c20f590bbce5320c.png Our caitlyn gave up and began to intentionally feed. I recognized that we had some really competent players aside from her. They communicated a gameplan to deal with the intentional feeder, we had lots of good wave clear, so we constantly sent vel and vik to rotate between mid lane (we decided it was most important to keep this tower as long as possible, one of these two was always there to wave clear) and the side lanes pushing to our towers. We sent jax on 1 man split push missions to draw as much aggro as he could safely and informed him to stay hidden and safe until caitlyn exposed her self and started to draw aggro. I was the designated intent feeder baby sitter. I wandered around where ever cait was going to stall those fights out as long as I could to give jax time to take towers on the opposite side of the map. I basically didn't get to farm after minute 10. The game ended in a win because we devoted our entire teams worth of resources to make use of our intentionally and deliberately trolling caitlyn.

https://i.gyazo.com/68990e93df01cbfd7c28985233fca467.png Pretty much the same situation as the first match. Except the bot lane was a duo of trolls this time around. Diana, GP, and I were strong enough to consistently 3v5 the enemy team (and even 2v5 them for the ace on two occassions). We began to realize we could win easily if we baited fights to around whatever lane tyler1 was charging down at the time. As soon as the enemy tried to jump him, we turned the intentional feed into a real fight, aced, and pushed for the win.

https://i.gyazo.com/af4c54f8a2c24aaf711062a555ccb260.png Same situation, same game plan. Follow the intent feeder around and make use of him as the tastiest bait in the world.

https://i.gyazo.com/219e4f31f11552062df24e2f30d5cc6f.png Good god I hate tyler1 and his wannabe copy cats... But they make for easy wins some times. Just follow the feeder around and let them bring all the enemy team to you for free kills.

The thing about a 2/15/7 jinx is that a) they are really really bad in which case the jungler should have noticed this in the first 5 minutes of the game and prioritized helping that lane so that they didn't become completely useless, or b) they are intentionally feeding and you can use this person as bait to take advantage of the enemy. Either way you will actually need to spend some time around that player, wherever they are on the map, in order to take advantage of the enemy teams thirst for easy prey if you want to win that matchup. Truthfully, a score like that is almost always intentional trolling and should be reported and the player banned. Not at my comp, driving home, but I'll post some screen shots later and talk about what I did in that particular scenario to pull out the W.
