Need Details on "Expose Weakness"

I have a few question about the Expose Weakness mastery. I tried a google search, but it keeps bringing up the old mastery from season 4.

1: Is it applied by any damage or just abilities.

2: How long is it active. (This is one that I think really needs to be in the tooltip)

3: Can it be applied to multiple enemies at once.

  1. It just says damage.
  2. I'd assume it's active until that enemy dies or goes out of vision.
  3. Does it not say "most recently damaged"?

  • it says damaging abilites, so thats a no on auto attacks, and i guess summoner spells
  • 3 seconds duration
  • i expect it to work against multiple champions, but m definitely not sure. would have to be tested.

has anyone tried if it stacks? and by that, i mean if everyone applies his own debuff to the enemy champion, or can you only suffer from the effect once?

because that would mean the maximum damage increase on an enemy champion is 12% from this mastery alone, which is pretty crazy.

So far everyone posting is making assumptions based upon how the tooltip is worded when anyone playing any game ever should be aware that the people writing these are (sadly, and to our frustrations) not perfectionists, nor keen on clarity. They often poorly word things, leave things out, word it as an umbrella coverage when it's actual application is very narrow and much less impressive. For instance, you could also, by their wording, reason-out that "Warlord's Bloodlust" gives you "increasingly more lifesteal", which could easily mean a percentage of your lifesteal percentage number - as an increase, not a flat percentage increase. Several games have done this, making you think that the number is much larger than it actually is. You can easily make assumptions, tearing apart how they've worded it, but you'd be falling far short of the facts. That being said, I have no actual facts to add to the discussion yet. I would say that you can ask this as a general gameplay question to Riot Support and they will answer it if you're really curious.
