Is Fervor of battle worth it anymore?
I play Yasuo and the nerf to it really did hit hard, so is it worth using anymore? going from like 119 stack to 60 stack is a big nerf.

It's weaker early game, but stronger late game, since the AD it gets can crit.
For reference, Yasuo used to get 112 on-hit damage with max stacks on fervor of battle. With the new fervor, 100% crit, and an IE, he gets 135 damage every auto attack.
Yes because it now scales with your abilities and critical damage.

Old fervor of battle was also applied by Yasuo's Q.
well before it was just bonus damage ... now its bonus ad
I made a similar thread yesterday asking the same question. Everyone said it's better now on champs like Yasuo, Renekton, Lucian, etc... However, from my own experience (SO FAR), the nerf hit hard. I don't do the same damage that I used to do pre-patch, not even close to it.
I don't know, I might be wrong, but I'm changing my mains because it's not working for me anymore.
So you're saying that something not being broken early game means you completely abandon your main...lol
Meanwhile SotA was removed and I'm not complaining about it being the only reason Resolve was ever worth using on many champs; specifically ones lacking hard CC relative to now.
Warlord's is just as good as Fervor on Yasuo. Fervor just doesn't let you cheese kills anymore. Its a positive direction if anything.

Renekton relied on his early game power to snowball and actually do something mid/late game. Now with the new Fervor, Renekton's early is destroyed. I see higher elo Renekton mains play with the new colossus keystone and build HP/Tank. I have no interest in such play style.
So you're saying that snowballing off of cheese is a better basis for a champion than actually out-laning someone?
Renekton's obviously been fine without Fervor before. Don't get why you think him going tankier when he doesn't snowball early is a bad thing.
Unless you're the ADC, if you're behind, you actually should be building tanky. Like, it's what you're SUPPOSED to do. People need to stop building straight damage when behind
Except if you're behind, you can't be tanky enough for those tank stats to matter enough. That's why people go damage.
League has damage creeped far too much for that to be what you do anymore. You build your core. Period.
Building damage makes the situation even worse for you.

Correction: You should build defensively on every role if you are behind
For most fighters, this means building tanky
For ADCs, mages, and many assassins, this means buiding items that can provide damage but at same time have survivability, and offer less raw damage due to that, but are cheaper.
For example, a mage can build
if they are ahead, but if they are behind,
or
is better

No you're not wrong. I use to do a lot more damage. Now it feels like it was halved that why I make this thread. Before i could cut down a adc fairly well, now I'm in serious competition with them.
It's shit. It takes longer to stack, doesn't stack from abilities, is basically nonexistent early game, and is weaker than old fervor even when fully stacked unless you're a full crit champ with IE. And even then, it's barely better I can't really justify taking Fervor on anyone now, except for Fiora.
yasuo??/ lol screw that guy
look at what it did to master yisus
The AD makes it better for casters. At the same time, it only stacks from auto attacks and casters, while they do auto attack, will never get it fully stacked before they die.
They killed the mastery by not making it stack with abilities anymore. Don't use it.
