I'm aware it's too soon to pass judgement judgement on Evelynn, but her kit feels awkward.
I'm sure there's going to be a Korean player who's going to prove that we are schmucks and teach us the ways of Evelynn soon enough, but from what I've seen, she's...awkward, even clunky to use.
It feels cheap that her invisibility is gated until level 6 despite not being an ultimate.
I have no issue with her Q, I often forget that it also has a missile primarly to proc the W, but that's on me.
Her W...I believe this is where my main issue with Evelynn remains, it just takes too long to prime, and the only way to get it fully primed is if your target was overextended beyond salvation, which makes the charm just a cherry on top of their demise. it also alerts the enemy way too much (the person's whole screens becomes pink ffs), and should you hit it before it primes, it becomes a "Thank you for participating, have your mana back" kind of spell with a mild slow.
Her E's range is a tad short, but I have no major qualms with it, Eve's old E was an AA reseter anyways.
Her ult... It's weird, I still believe it should function the same way LB's W does, in which you would go back if you double tap it instead of being forced to do so, I get the point of it being a drawback of the ability, but it feels more like a punishment for misusing it rather than an option in her kit.
She's now a fully fledged AP assassin only as far as I can see, it's fair, old Eve had a lot of options, I believe she was a tanky bruiser at some point, which made her a nightmare to balance, but it makes this new Eve feel a tad limited.
Granted, I've seen more of Eve than I've actually played her, and I believe it hasn't been a week since she was released, but I feel that Eve's weakness isn't really a numbers' issue, but with her kit. The most pressing issue I see with new Eve can be summarized in a single question: Besides the whole enemy stacking all the armor items they can, why should I pick Evelynn over Kha' Zix?
