@Riot: Any ETA on the Tribunal?

Hey there, as the title states, I'm curious about when (if) the Tribunal is going to be launched, or what plans are going to be implemented instead.

Right now your system has grown extremely agressive agaisnt toxic people, which is great, but it somewhat flakes when dealing with trolling/intentionally feeding and other kinds of toxic behaviours in a timely matter. I have an ironclad patience, so I know these people squeaking "lol just repot me, nothing will happen" are wrong, but I have yet to see that fabled "The person you reported got rekt" message appear on my screen.

While I'll keep reporting, I can see why other people can stop doing so, there's just no timely answer to these people being punished and thus some people begin believing their little immunity claims.

So yeah, any word on this other than Soon tm?

Soon for close to two years now? I'm coming up on my 2nd year of league and the tribunal was supposed to be coming back soon back then. If I'm ever on death row, I hope they abide by Riots definition of soon so I never have to die :p

i bet not before worlds is over. most probably not in preseason either. TBH, i'd be surprised if it would be launched before Season 6!

I kinda just want to know if they're working on it at this point. Soon means they're doing SOMETHING with it. If they just dropped the Tribunal entirely, well then just tell us so we can be angry now. >_>

Trolling and feeding behavior is not what Riot cares about because the solution can not be automated.

Well, according to the tip you get in-game it seems to work underground while noone is suspecting it is (the one proclaiming about some absurd amount of people's behavior being improved by tribunal).

As about ETA I don't think you will get any more specific than "soon VALVe Time"

Pretty sure lyte said teambuilder draft was their primary focus right now. I imagine the tribunal is next up after that.

I'll tell you this much OP, I got one of those messages after reporting someone. I wish it would clarify what kind of punishment, if any, they're getting. Their automated system is nice, but it can be fooled and honestly it seems to be banning people without warnings. Even if someone is toxic, I think they should get a 1-2 week suspension instead of a ban for their first offense. I hope Tribunal comes back one day.

Last time they instated the tribunal The game went from a free to play/try to win to an social justice warrior tumbletard battleground for who could play professional victim the best.

I miss league when it was a competitive game and not an online child day care center.

I died at this part. Karthus At least you guys have a freakin' tribunal. We have an automated system. But honestly, one way they could improve the encouragement of using the report button is to give everyone that reported that person the you rekt a person message. It definitely encourages you to see that your reports actually help, and are not useless (I'm still wondering if the Automated System in OCE works). Also, even to compliment that, you gain a small amount of IP (I was thinking maybe 10?)

TL;DR The system should send the "You rekt someone" to all the people who reported, not just the one that were finally counted, and that IP should be given to compliment it.

no they hate the community so they just use a machine which does it and doesn't put the community in charge of bans cause they don't care
