Imagine not being able to infinitely kite a melee champion and leave them absolutely helpless and pointless as an out of position squishy long ranged carry.

You realize that Shojin's CDR reset only applies if he's auto attacking you. If youre kiting him, he wont be getting any value out of shojin, or leap strikes. At best he can get 1 or 2 autos off on you before you can E away, then you'll have 5 - 9 seconds of freedom to use your IBG slow or Trinity movespeed in addition to your team peeling for you.

I've even seen him go item 1401 item 3161 and be strong early game, while also outscaling most other melee champions. Either his late game power or his early game presence needs to be toned down. They nerfed Trundle's early game power, so why not Jax?
