A way that you could reduce how frustrating Ivern is to play against
I think that a way you could do this is to make Ivern's marking of camps, as well as the time it takes before he can collect it scale with his Jungle item. This would make it so he must buy a Jungle item like
to speed up his Jungling. It will be a nerf to his early game, however, he will be rewarded for completing the item with a faster channel/collection for finishing a full Jungle item. This would create a decent incentive for the Ivern player to buy a fully completed
or
rather than going straight into
or
. If it is too much of a nerf (which I doubt) he should get compensation through increased AP ratios or some health ratios added into his kit (so that it scales with Cinderhulk). This should compensate him if this change hits him too hard, however I highly doubt it.
So this is my thinking:
Currently, it takes him 2.5 Seconds to mark a camp.
5 second channel with no Jungle item.
4 second channel with Tier One Jungle item (
OR
)
3.5 Second Chanel with BOTH Tier One Jungle items (
and
together)
3 Second Channel with a Tier 2 Jungle item (

, or
)
2 Second Channel with a Tier 3 Jungle item (
,
,
,
,
or
)
I can't think of any numbers for how long between camp marking and camp collection, but that's a bit harder to figure out.
You may not like how I force Ivern into buying a Jungle item, however he already rushes
or
already, so I think this change may make him less annoying to play against. However, this is just my opinion.
